Gaga stating multiple times last year that it should be the people who wants the continuation of 'Telephone' to contact Beyoncé asking for it as if she and her team are not able to contact Bey has always been very telling to me about the state of their relationship, that way of answer has also made me thinking that very likely Gaga has already tried in the past to contact her for it without receiving a proper answer or with being denied.

Regardless, the idea of another Beyoncé collab doesn't excited me at all, let alone for the remix of a mid 20 years old track, at this point I would rather another Ariana one who has always remained openly supportive of Gaga after their collab, not to mention I think they also fit better artistically and vocally.

I was just doing the dishes and my partner put on "In My House" by Diana Ross and it started making my brain itch, so I had to listen to "Replay" to scratch that itch and I forgot how much I do really love this song. I enjoyed the hell out of Chromatica for 2020 and 2021 before I settled into the understanding that the whole album was really kinda forced, and after that I kinda gave up on it for a while. But I know it's not a terrible album, even if she was being held hostage by BloodPoop.

I'm actually here for a hiatus. She's kind of the new Adele, disappears from the face of earth until she has something to say. I don't like an artist who oversaturates the market just because they can. Even someone like Charli, I appreciate her as an artist but I almost don't want my fav to create that quickly. I want everything to be top tier, undeniable and have an actual reason for existing. Gaga creates entire worlds around her projects and is a chameleon, people come to Gaga to expect the unexpected, it's her strength and I want her to take the time to develop that next big evolution.

MAYHEM, HQ, DWP2 was already a lot. Luckily they all served different purposes, but even DWP2 music needed better quality control. In Gaga's case it seems a hiatus hasn't affected her, you would think the 5 year break between Chromatica and MAYHEM would have had severe repercussions but it clearly did not. That said it better not be another 5 year break from music, 2 years max please. I'll even be kind and give her 2 years from when Requiem released, so something before May 2028.

Gaga herself said "Telephone part 2" is happening and told fans to "call Beyoncè". It's on ACT III, just wait y'all

Yeah hiatuses more than two years can be damaging even to successful industry veterans like her. Waiting another 3-5 years for an album would be catastrophic. She'll always have a fanbase but she'll be left as a "legacy" throwback artist if she waits another 3-5 years. Even Adele has seen a decline but she's able to get away with it since her music has always been adult contemporary and her core base will always show up.
