That said it better not be another 5 year break from music, 2 years max please. I'll even be kind and give her 2 years from when Requiem released, so something before May 2028.

Absolutely not. I need 'LG8' launching early 2027 then a Greatest Hits with a music video or two in early 2028 before Gaga starts having kids. If we're not getting a surprise 'Mayhem' video alongside the Film at the end of the year then I'm manifesting 'LG8' single this October.

In the Zane Lowe interview she said it was possible we would get new music this year it just depends on how the writing process goes. I reckon she said that with confidence because she knew we were getting the DWP2 music regardless and I also think by that point she'd worked on an Abel collab because of the rumours and him showing up to her show but still 7 studio albums in 18 years, she loves taking her sweet ass time so I figure the earliest we will see something LG8 related would be mid 2027 and even that feels like wishful thinking.

I'm sorry but waiting 5 years while she's actually creatively recharged and has just recently expanded and re-energized her fanbase. I think early 2028 is the latest she should wait for.

Speaking of expanding her fanbase it's crazy how much her subreddit expanded. Only Swift and Charli saw similar % increases in the past couple of years. I think LG8 will have a lot if initial hype if they play their cards right.

so I've listened to So Happy I Can Die (SHICD) over the weekend and it's so much deeper than I thought it was the more I examined the lyrics.

On the surface it's about feeling good and forgetting all your worries and doubts by partying at the club, but underneath the song is a sadness. Gaga's pretending to have fun at the club, she's making sure she looks her best throughout the night, pretending to have confidence, having drinks because it'll make her have fun. But inside she's scared, not confident, and maybe even depressed? It's like she realized after she blew up that the lifestyle of the rich and famous is actually incredibly superficial and hollow. So Happy I Could Die is actually an ironic title. She's actually so sad she could die.

When Applause reaches one billion streams on Spotify Gaga will be the only main pop girl to have all her albums with at least one song with 1 billion streams.

Seeing Shakira nabbing a huge global hit with Dai Dai and knowing Gaga was in talks to do a World Cup song makes me a little upset that she ended up rejecting the offer tbh. She could have easily got another 400M+ streamed single to hold us over while we wait for whatevr she does next.

Also why all the Abel teasing and yet nothing materializing out of it from both of them :( could it have been the rumored World Cup song??? idk....All I know is we NEED the next record by early next year at the latest tbh. Mayhem has done so well for her and she is rejuvinated artistically....strike while the iron is hot Gar!

There haven't been reliable sources claiming that Gaga was really offered to make a song for it aside from the usual brazilian Miss Universo kind of rumors..

Shakira is more fitting for those kind of tracks and the soccer audience, regardless at this point it should be a no-brainer that there is never a garancy for a smash hit no matter the event or project she attached herself to.
