  1. None of these movies really did a career damage. I doubt Mariah and Britney would have transitioned into acting anyway, sure Mariah still booked some small roles but then again I don't think she would have tried to transitioning into acting, same Britney. J.Lo easily continued to make movies and her acting career. Madonna acting career was already heavily panned, one more didn't change anything by that point. Gaga was sidelined in JFAD, ultimately her being underused became one of the main criticism of the movie, she will book another acting project sooner or later.
  2. Senseless comparison, Zendaya became a full time actress after a failed attempt to have a music career and stepping back from the music industry.
  3. The usual dumb revisionism in here trying to blame Gaga when in fact it was pointed out she was underused in the movie by multiple critics.

I would be fine with this scenario as long as it's an original jazz album with a modern twist/direction (something definitely overdue in her career) and a good movie project with the right role for her and people to work with.

The usual meltdowns over nothing when this biotech company or whatever is obviously a project of Michael, two years ago when she had that influencers meeting with consequent meltdowns over here it was about this, it's not like she is the one croncretely involved in doing that given it clearly requires medical background, she's just posting about and associate her name with to give it visibility, in the same way Michael is involved in her business/career helping her, it's the least that she post about his company, it's not that hard to get.

Or maybe it was done on purpose with her not having to prepare a whole new performance which woudn't have been worthy for an awards show that has became totally irrelevant with the awards being blatantly booked by the labels these days, give them a tour performance without having renounce to a tour date was actually a smart decision.
  8. There's nothing groundbreaking or innovative about the song in order to be considered a cultural reset, not even visually when it comes to the music video, as others pointed out it was the further rehash of 'Say So' and overdone Dr.Luke sound.
  9. It's not only the Internet, her 'health' situation made major headlines at the main national news in my country for example, thing that rarely happen with these arguments, but it has nothing to do with her music, there's no backlash related to her music or career.
  10. One once in awhile it's not a big deal, both destroy your teeth anyway so I tend to avoid them, Arizona tea > > >
  11. Yeah this is not my cup of Tea either, props to him to try something different tho.
  12. I honestly had no idea he released new music this year with a new album coming, they made no noise.
  13. This really saddens me, I grow up with her music and always found her cool back in the day between the No Doubt and her first solo projects, I really can't believe she took this path
  14. Considering we're in an era in which not even the main pop girls (or better their labels) are investing in music videos, for the small budget she has in general for a British niche popstar she always manage to deliver good music videos, this is more than good for a third music video released so late from the album release.

Haven't listened to this song in very long time, such a gem.
  16. Aside from maybe Mel B, I think their solo career pop music was solid.
  17. I'm definitely not passionate about it like I used to, nowadays I can stay also weeks without listen to some music, especially when it comes to new artists, I basically don't check anything new aside from rare exceptions and what I listen it's mostly from veteran artists, I stick to 2-3 new albums at a year and for the rest/majority I listen to old music.
  18. Here in italy definitely, it still is often used on our tv programs.

There haven't been reliable sources claiming that Gaga was really offered to make a song for it aside from the usual brazilian Miss Universo kind of rumors.. Shakira is more fitting for those kind of tracks and the soccer audience, regardless at this point it should be a no-brainer that there is never a garancy for a smash hit no matter the event or project she attached herself to.

This song deserved so much better, I will never get the hate, especially considering that for Prada 2 soundtrack it was fitting perfectly.

Gaga stating multiple times last year that it should be the people who wants the continuation of 'Telephone' to contact Beyoncé asking for it as if she and her team are not able to contact Bey has always been very telling to me about the state of their relationship, that way of answer has also made me thinking that very likely Gaga has already tried in the past to contact her for it without receiving a proper answer or with being denied. Regardless, the idea of another Beyoncé collab doesn't excited me at all, let alone for the remix of a mid 20 years old track, at this point I would rather another Ariana one who has always remained openly supportive of Gaga after their collab, not to mention I think they also fit better artistically and vocally.
  22. From a side I totally understand the sensation of feeling weird about it, but at the end the people who mentioned that is like watching a classic movie with a dead actor or listen to the music of dead singer are not wrong even if they said it ironically, it was their work at the end in the same way with the only difference of involving sex and they made a deliberate choice about it. I don't think those people deserve to be forgotten, it's also a way to keep remembering them, in the case of Tim Kruger that you mention for example, it's kind of impossible to not still coming across his videos in any gay section of a porn site given he made hundreds of scenes with lot still being recent. Lot of straight porn actors ones like Linda Lovelace or John Holmes have became legends who are still remembered with tones of documentaries about them.

For how much I would like it, I think another new album/music era has definitely more chances to be release before a new movie project (with her as lead obviously) since they're usually announced lot in advance by the various movie media outlets with relative pre rumors and there haven't been any rumors lately.. The last rumors coming from deuxmoi (the first to reveal her participation to JFAD) were that 'Thelma e Louise' remake directed by Jane Campion but if they were real I think we would have known by now.

Pretty sure a Marvel movie is the last thing she would do acting wise coming from JFAD.
