I like Miley's music a lot, even when it flops a bit like her last album. I also like Katy's music, mostly her (s)old catalogue, not so much her new stuff. I hope Miley's new album deliverssss. If Miley flops harder than 143 with this, I can't imagine how insufferable Kats Rats will become (and they're already too much).

There has been decades of propaganda at this point that has forced this idea that Beyonce is a goddess among us, so of course people would want to see it in person. That does not necessarily translate into streams when you realize it's not necessarily the case. But also, she puts a ton of effort into her performances, more than a lot of today's and yesterday's performers. I'm not a huge Beyonce fan (I like a few tracks from each album) but I know seeing her in person would be an event, because that's where she shines.

It would come with a happy meal toy, and it'd just be one of twelve collectible variants of her most recent album.

Very informative, thank you! I knew she was often seen as problematic, but I knew there had to be more to it than it just being her fault. Mannequin Factory was great, Swallow My Bullet was OK. TIWRNRLL is how I learned of her in the first place. Her earlier stuff was pretty great too, it's a shame their partnership (however brief) wasn't so fortuitous.

One Assassination Under God, Chapter 2 dropped on Aug 14 and I've been listening to it front-to-back since then.

I really don't think Sam ever tanked their career. After their debut, they've kinda flown pretty steadily right under the radar where nobody really cares what they do one way or another. I've found it kind of annoying, cause they try to be outrageous and many would be canceled for trying so hard, but the GP doesn't really react that much. Homo milk is just a little thicker than 2%, it's not outrageous to the GP.

Roar is peak cheesy terrible Katy. And right after those tacky funeral videos of her blue wig, like she was gonna do anything else but release aerosol cheese music. Yes, And doesn't make me grimace like the other one.

For me, I figured Mariah. It's so… acceptable. But, after I already voted, I realized her shrill whistle notes might cause stress and anxiety in an elevator, so maybe it's not her. Either way, I don't doubt millions end up listening to AIWFCIY in the elevator at some point. But then there's Taylor. The safest, most vanilla, background, common denominator music. No danger there.

Old Katy might keep New Katy from completely sinking to the bottom of the void, but "save" isn't the word I'd use. All the attention to her (s)old catalogue will only bring nostalgia, it has not at all been translating to interest in her new catalogue.

I don't know why, but this user's posts all read like a parody. Like, you read what they say and it's like, there's no way this is a real person. Maybe on some Nickelodeon show where it's fully grown men writing like they're tweens, maybe that's where you'd read dialogue like this.
