Miami was rescheduled tho, so only one true cancellation. Her AUS and Japan grosses were insane, she should've added like 5 more dates between Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.

Releasing Joanne when she did was so risky but also big brain.

Three years after Artpop, you'd've expected her to follow up with a pop album. Any other pop artist would've course corrected with a back to basics. It was a smart move in hindsight bc she won critical acclaim points and it kinda set her career onto the path it is today: never chasing trends, staying wholly her own artist, and ultimately winning constant respect. Even with her Jx3 flop projects--Joanne, Joker, Jazz--they were always strategic in their timing

It's cool seeing her trajectory. She's 100% at that point in her career where she has full industry backing. No scandals. Nothing can really stop her. Like Beyonce, her brand/IP is tightly controlled and thought out. The thing (to me) that sets Gaga apart from Beyonce though is the genuine heart she puts into her career. No ego. Not jaded. She's incredibly grateful. She doesn't think her sh*t doesn't stink. It makes her that much more lovable. Insanely talented, fierce, innovative, but also really self aware and human.

Honestly I'd want a biopic that takes place from 2005-2009. With eras after that I'd prefer a documentary.
