this was also very amazing to me, listening to the album from the beginning again and piecing the puzzle works sooo well

much less pretentious, much more real and the tongue in cheek part works well as it's actually her character. the album makes you emphasize hard with her and go through entire journey of a 'happy' relationship, to it breaking down, to her discovering details, and going through stages of grief and life after it. a lot of focus on little details that makes the situations feel real as well and puts you in the scenes. it's moody and made me feel i was betrayed tbh.

mid tempo songs with incredibly storytelling lyrics. a bit of tongue in cheek lyricism that lightens the mood but it still feels heavy. a lot of catchy melodies. i think it's a masterpiece of songwriting. it's a catchy assassination attempt

imo art and politics dont have to intersect. the issue is that shes so big she can shift public opinion in ways most people simply cant and as u said, shes done it before. i dont blame peeps for being disappointed in her indifference. its not rly about wanting her to be political its more about wasted potential and the responsibility that comes with that kind of audience. i still hope shes doing good behind the scenes but for someone at her level the impact only matters when its visible. choosing not to use that power is still a political act just on the other side. anyway it's derailing the topic and honestly she can choose to do whatever she wants. you can listen to music but also be a bit wary of this side which ill stick to
