if the May 29 date is not real, maybe she'll release the album on Juneteenth. It is a Friday after all and could be a powerful statement, especially if the title has anything to do with Betty Black.

I'm quite shocked we got nothing out of the Met Gala. All the different news outlets and corporations reaching out and sharing the rumours had me really confident that something would have been out by now.

But she has production and writing credits in all of them. A lot of artists actually do this (see Tommy Lee's solo discography - he doesn't sing in every song and sometimes hires outside singers/features but he plays in all of them, produces, writes, etc.) so it's still his album.

The Gift was a released on streaming platforms as a soundtrack album from the very beginning. A better analogy than Prince's Batman album is Kendrick's Black Panther (which clearly was Bey's reference for The Gift). He's on every track, it had a couple of hits, it debuted at #1 and still nobody claims it as a studio album.

All I know is that the next album doesn't need all the interludes and neither does it need to be longer than 16 tracks.

I don't think she would. Bey has very publicly doted on Sade on so many occasions now, that we'd already know if she disproved of Bey.

Bey also wrote Sade an open letter in 2012 and Sade responded with this:

And Forward on Lemonade was basically a James Blake song (besides backing harmonies), same with some interludes on Cowboy Carter (e.g. Smoke Hour)

Little Woman was an alternate version/demo that ended up becoming Rise Up. It's interesting though that it's been re-registered (considering its Work ID) and that Hit-Boy is now credited. I can't find A BUTT UNWASHED IS A BUTT ABUSED and the link doesn't make me go there. The first one with London on da Track has an older Work ID, say 2023-2024.

And isn't this the Twitter account that posts a lot of "insider info" (like multiple different theories) then deletes them when they're wrong and keep the ones that seem or feel closest so they can say, "see? we got sources" lol
