Her movement is limited now due to age + injuries. She'd have to change her performance style considerably to work around those limitations imo.

her team has gotten too comfortable, even if she can't physically do as much as she did during FWT, she could still do great choreography. But now they're just making her hug her dancers or whatever this is

well yeah that's kinda the minimum for the greatest performer of all time no ? having her performance style change and evolve with her

RWT was already a pretty revamped performance style and it worked perfectly and was a step in a great direction. there's a lot you can do with the right energy, arm movement and more well timed dance breaks that don't look like whatever this here was

like there's so much she could do, nobody asks for non stop FWT type of choreo, she wasn't even doing all that on all her tours before that anyway. just go in a more theatrical, prop heavy, broadwayesque direction or something, but these days the constant group hugging and awkward stomping looks unflattering and messy

you can tell she feels boxed in by the expectations of a beyoncé performance, same way she obviously doesn't feel that comfortable in skin tight leotards anymore but still wears them bc she thinks the crowd won't be satisfied without them

I think it's safe to say the May window has closed

I agree the choreo was a mess at CCWT. If she's going to move less then she can stick to choreo like BMS, Alien Superstar, Energy….

Well, I kinda hope her future music is less choreography driven tbh.

I'd like to see her explore more intimate settings, to showcase her flawless vocals more than anything else.

The way she came and left. This was her letting us know she's alive, and now we gotta bunker down and wait next year for Act 3 now that she has to re-record the album because we all said it was gonna be rock

The CCT was a perfect balance of choreo, production, and vocal display. She moved way more on this tour than she did for RWT and I think she's now more used to her limitations on what she can or can't do, it's more comfortable. My only qualm would maybe be that the Diva dance break and the CiL section looked so choppy and messy, but I think she's gonna retire it next tour she seems sick of it.
