Industrial is very dance-adjacent, so I get it. It can also go in either extreme: either very, very, very leftist ... or you get the Nazi-imagery NON/Boyd Rice style folks. Metal gets all the reputation that industrial deserves, tbh. It's the genre with the most extremists on either side of the spectrum, and have a lot of pretty awful (but also pretty great) people within it. It's kind of insane.

Yes, actually. They're not really the stereotypical homophobes that media often portray them as. Maybe in the 2000s and early 2010s. But now? No. Not really.

I don't really listen to pop or follow pop stars other than Beyoncé (and a few curiosities here and there, like some Gaga or Taylor or Madonna songs during release week, for example). My primary genre of choice has always really been rock, alt, punk, metal, industrial, folk. That type of stuff. It's so hard to navigate gay spaces when it's incredibly rare to find people with similar music tastes. And it's kinda just assumed you like high energy EDM dance pop. Nothing against the genre at all. Just not really something I would search for. If you're into this stuff, do you also feel out of place? Left out? Although I'm gay, I feel like I can only really be myself when it comes to music when hanging out with straight men. :(

A little rebranding can't hurt them. Honestly. Anything non-Disney just use a different name. The 'Rock Mafia' name is tarnished and has a reputation of being a Disney producer. So people avoid them. It's kinda like Kara DioGuardi. A very accomplished songwriter. Then she started writing for American Idol for years and years and years, and now no one works with her but Khias because everyone thinks she's an American Idol songwriter exclusively.

If the stans are so inclined to make album tracks chart, just purchase them individually on iTunes! Only streaming should be tweaked. You can still game the system with mass buying (which you're already doing anyway).
