Why does 'Baby love, I think I've been a little too kind' suddenly sound like the best opening line ever? 

'Did all the extra credit, then got graded on a curve' take his folkmore credits back, queen. 

I am now just finding out that swaths of people thought Bejeweled was about someone other than Joe. Huh?

 

The song is literally about putting your partner in the doghouse and not to take you for granted because you’ve been in a long relationship together. 
 

She literally says, familiarity breeds contempt. “And when I see the band, they ask do you have a man, I can still say I don’t remember”. 
 

Why or how could that literally be about anyone else, especially a shorter fling/romance.

Girly will probably go through a few more relationships but ultimately end up manless because She will get bored of them eventually. This is not a a drag, that just how it be.

Like, how does she do it? Writes and releases a song about the end of a relationship because of different beliefs and is still together with the guy for over a year since the song was recorded. I can't understand this. 

I don’t think any of the songs on Midnights are for Joe… Why would she write Sweet Nothing with him and still put it in the album if they had ended the relationship back then? 

I get that Dear Reader might hint at her being a bit sad, but then again, I don’t think they ended it back then. 

I thought Midnight Rain was about Her high school boy or something? I'll give y'all Lavender Haze and maybe Bejeweled, but MR? The REACH.

Need her to capitalize off the headlines by dropping Hits Different on streaming. The lyrics kinda fit perfectly with this whole narrative

Very good point. I am on the same page. I think she might have had some imaginations or nightmares about breaking up with Joe, hence writing lyrics about it. But it wasn't the reality until recently.

Yeah, it might be. But every since we knew about the break-up, I looked at those lines differently. She might've been scared it would end for a while now and having nightmares about it, if the relationship was shaken or something like that. It's hard to explain on a different language what I mean 

not the gaylors creating narratives in here and some falling for it

he was liking her posts and posting pics of her cats until the beginning of the tour

the majority of the album was a reflection over her career since she's currently recreating the material she originally did when she was going through these things back then, and these feeling naturally had to come back which inspired her on the album...

Apparantly he's filming in Budapest right now. Perhaps he promised her to support her during the tour, but then took a new project far away and she was like: nah, it's over. They probably barely can communicate with the different time zones. I wonder if they broke up over the phone.

It is so bizarre being a fan since debut/Fearless and seeing this behavior  Like... the post-Reputation breed of Swifties are truly something else entirely from those of us that were stans from her first five eras. There were always cupcakes, but there was a huge influx of really embarrassing stans with no self awareness or sense of humor who are probably also Disney adults (I blame Lover) and they now make up a massive portion of the fandom.
