What’s crazy is that she’s been suffering inside and faking a smile just to make people happy for the past month and managed to hold it together…

 

Like a majority of the songs are about them and she’s carrying on like a pro, meanwhile I haven’t been able to listen to anything today since so much is connected to them and now these songs feel empty and have the opposite intended effect when listening to them. (Yes it sounds stupid but…)

Lavender Haze hits very different 

I always took it as a carefree pop song but now everything has different context.

Unlike other artists,  Taylor always priorities her fan

 

She is using this Tour as coping mechanism.

"Close" usually means it's their publicist 

 

Very possible that ET got some rumors and they ran with it and when Tree was asked she simply said yes and asked other news outlets to put story as she wanted. 

She is 100k away from breaking the overall female monthly listeners record on Spotify, which means she is going to take the record back tomorrow  *That* thread really aged like rotten eggs

It's not stupid, I just streamed Fearless and Red today. That is what I could handle

Some times it's friends or family being extremely disrespectful but most of the times is a label they use for info that comes purposefully from the PR teams. They won't say "Taylor's publicist confirmed it".

If it's how it works, why don't they simply say it's coming from her publicist? I mean, even for the media, it sounds more reliable to say that than "someone close to Taylor". I always read that as "a friend of Taylor confirmed it" idk why

That's what I also find the most heartbreaking. Imagine keeping up the facade like she has despite singing songs she wrote about her love for him while they are broken up. The champagne problems performance makes so much sense now. 

 

I guess it's now up to the Swifties to change the meaning of the songs for her like they did for All Too Well.

Yeah, most likely they didn't want it to come out yesterday but Entertainment Tonight got the news someway. Once it was out People Magazine & Tree (it's the outlet she always uses to put out news) decided to confirm it and spread the "friendly split" narrative, before more rumours fly around.
