Is "I Knew It I Knew You" the most fraudulent song of the year?
you != the world Considering I have not heard any song from Stray Kids, BTS, Agust D, Ateez, etc. I wouldn't call them fraudulent simply because their music is not popular to me, but I believe it is popular to other demographics, hence why they have chart success.

Breaking: Chloë Sevigny skulldrags Law Roach and Zendaya; Law Roach responds.
What's happening? Suddenly, I saw a lot of him on social media, particularly a post about how he and Zendaya were rejected by many designers at the early stage of her career, and now she has become a global star, and these brands have to bow down to her and Roach. And now on ATRL, I see him again...

Pitchfork: Tyla is replacing Rihanna; Tyla retweets
While I like Tyla's new album, I don't think it's doing well commercially. So, no, she won't replace Rihanna. Btw, who are the other two that we can drag?

Hot 100 | Final predictions (8/22/26): Texas #1 (x18), Midnight Sun #14, Oh Yeah? #20
Wow, I'm shocked that IKIIKY is doing so well. Good for Taylor.

Hot 100 | Final predictions (8/15/26): Texas #1 (x17), HTIMYLM #2, Petal #5
With no major release this week and upcoming weeks, Choosing Texas could easily snatch 22 weeks at number 1 (or even more).

Róisín Murphy attacks Madonna for being pro-trans
What a waste! I quite enjoyed her music. It was lit. But her standpoint is just getting more and more frustrating.

HDD Final: Olivia #1 80k, Morgan #2 77k, Charil #3 74k, Strokes #15 30k, Tyla #43 17k
I don't think Brat had a hit though, no? Apple was a Tik-tok viral but it wasn't really a hit. Having said that Brat was such a phenomenal cultural moment. The album was sold fairly well during its first week. Charli became the headliner of multiple music festivals (I live in Europe and I can see her impact at that time). I guess that's why people have a high expectation on her follow-up, and how they are surprised that it does not seem to do as well as Brat.

Justin Baldoni & wife speak for first time since legal battle with Blake Lively
It was quite confusing in the end as both parties claimed victory. But yeah, reading that, I think neither of them won. The "Taylor and Blake's friendship was ruined" was only speculated by fans. She and her husband were saw in NYC at the same time of the wedding as well, though there was no confirmation whether or not they attended the wedding.

Please explain to me the Swifties vs. Livies feud
To me, it's easy to understand the situation. When Olivia started, as a new artist, it was easy to see who her influences were. And Taylor Swift appeared at the time to be her big influence (arguably, her debut sounds a lot like a Taylor's album). But no one wants to be another version of someone else. And Olivia wants to prove that she has a distinctive musical identity, not a Swift wannabe, which I think she did very successfully. For that reason, she stopped sharing anything related to Swift (which makes sense). Btw, both her sophomore and latest LPs are successful in forming her own musical identity. Anyway, I genuinely think they don't have any beef.

Hot 100 | Final Predictions (7/4/26): Texas #1 (x11), IKIIKY #2
But is it not the same for other fanbases now? Hot-shot debut to #1. Taylor has a larger fanbase, so it can stay for multiple weeks. The only organic #1 hit now is actually "Texas", and people also hate that song for staying too long and not leaving space for others.

Hot 100 | Final Predictions (7/4/26): Texas #1 (x11), IKIIKY #2
Why do people hate on IKIIKY? I am not a fan of this song either, but I don't think it's that bad to be hated. It's a good song. Just that it's not my vibe
