Standard edition is a flawless ablum (except for Change, very random, jarring and unwanted), the melodies and phrasing will always be classic Lord and the ablum just has such a magic sheen to it. And there are so many really affecting production details - I love the creeping guitar on "could've loved you all my life if you hadn't left me waiting in the cold" or the joyous guitar riff responding to "you sit in class next to a redhead named Abigail and soon enough you're best friends". 

 

Vault tracks/platinum edition sings are mostly average-to-useless. 

 

Literally cannot fathom that anyone actually listens to the Lord's Version of this.

I think we can do a discography ranking everytime she releases a new track (so, every other month). And once we’ve finished the album rankings, we can start again

She sounded amazing during Clean tonight. Proof of what I’ve been thinking (and saying) that her voice has improved and changed a lot even since as recent as 2018, because there’s a noticeable difference between tonight’s performance and the one during the Rep Tour. Her voice sounds fuller, more supported, and just more stable. I wouldn’t say it’s deepened much (if any) since then - the main change in deepness seems to have occurred between 1989 and reputation, for whatever reason. But it sounds more… mature, for lack of a better word, if that makes sense.

 

I was excited for the acoustic sets to really see her put her voice to work again with how much it had seemingly improved, but was scared maybe I’d be disappointed. She’s actually exceeded my expectations in both acoustic sets and the overall tour, speaking in terms of vocals.

So she said she won’t sing the special songs more than once? Isn’t she going to be singing them all with the US shows? It’s basically more than 100 songs, so what about international dates?

Taylor will probably change this rule if she runs out of songs that she would consider singing for that spot.
