After the masters thing she needs a big release but only one song (an a- list collaboration on someone else project, a soundrack song) this fall. Then a new album after 6-8 months.

last album came only 13 months ago...a two year tour ended like 6 months ago, she's not going in a new tour in 2026 already. if not for the pandemic and a cancelled tour (so she worked on a new album) you have at least a 2 year hiatus (not counting the re releases) even between folkmore and midnights. New album is coming in the second half of 2026 with a new tour in 2027. Of course every fan would listen to a new album every 6 months but we also should be real about what's really good for her in general in terms of personal wealth and quality time to dedicate on making new music, and why not also what is the smartest way to do it for her career. And it's not a new album after just one year.
