  1. Not I would legitimately rather wake up to the headline "Katy Perry dead at 34" than "Katy Perry confirms Vegas residency". Her career is already dead, but Vegas would be like turning a funeral into a circus act. If someone pulled a Christina Grimmie or whatever, the GP would be on her side again, and she might get another iTunes #1 finally, possibly even her 10th #1 on Billboard like XXXTENTATION. Plus, let's be real, we'd probably get a posthumous album sooner than we'd get KP5 if she were alive. Plus, Capitol could include all the discarded Luke bops, because a dead person can't really get backlash for working with an accused rapist. Getting a sequel in here
  2. yes, fine, add me to the taglist If you're going to join me in giving Anything For Love a 12, STAY IN LINE! They cannot intimidate you, they cannot turn you away if you're in already in line. You can still vote, even after the polls close! IF YOU ARE IN LINE TO VOTE, STAY IN LINE! WE CAN WIN THIS! We will not be shamed, we will not be intimidated, we will not be silenced, we will not be ignored. We will WIN, and you will deal.
  3. This list seems to be a little off. It combines Teenage Dream's numbers with TCC, but not The Fame with TFM, GGGB with Reloaded, etc.
  4. Either of Bieber's most recent singles, but especially YUKON, because the vocal effect is unbearable and the lyrics are nonsensical. As for 12 to 12... I can't help you, but you're dead wrong
  5. 145 weeks - Taylor Swift (47 Hot 100; 98 Billboard 200) It'll be beautiful to watch her clear 50 and 100 weeks respectively with her next album, we love to see milestones get crossed!
  6. Not her manufacturing her own Flowers video house
  7. If the partial streams:first day streams matches Harry's House, this will come in just under 60M, but it could swing a few million either way. Still, a big decline from where he was with his last release.
  8. Big Boobies I paint my nails black I dye my hair a darker shade of brown Cause you like your women Spanish, dark, strong and proud
  9. My first thought was Holy Ground, and then my second thought was, well... I guess I'll always be a Little Redster
  10. Yeah, but with +55 from Republican voters it wouldn't be out of the question for him to switch parties. He might even keep a few of his voters from the centrist/union types scattered across the state (dependent on who the Democrats end up nominating), so long as Shapiro doesn't get the Presidential nom.
  11. I fear you missed Is It Over Now? and Red We Are Never Ever Getting Back Togther All Too Well
  12. Well yes, both of my faves have at least one (and several more on the way!)
  13. TTPD and TLOAS's numbers outside the US ending every non Taylor album globally? Hmm. Much to consider about this supposedly hyperlocal to the suburbs of Indiana artist
  14. I'm not sure where you found this list (are those the billboard numbers?), but here's the list from R&R, which uses Mediabase's figures:
  15. Not on mediabase, no. Frozen peaked at 4, ROL at 13, Music at 2, and DTM at 4
  16. Something quite interesting is that Madonna achieved her 15 number ones in a 10 year period, and then never got a #1 again (her first was Like A Virgin in December 1984, and her last was Take A Bow in March of 1995), whereas Taylor took 16 years to tie the record, and 17 years to break it, and seems on track to keep extending her record further over the coming years. Even though Madonna continued to release successful albums for more than another decade after 1995 (I think the conventional wisdom is that 4 Minutes was her last true hit), none of them managed to yield a pop radio #1. Taylor has managed to revive her pop radio rapport several times over the years (in 2012, 2018, and 2022 especially), which certainly helps to explain some of her longevity.
  17. Game recognizes Game. Hilgod knows what's up
  18. Oh the universality of Taylor's timeless discography continues. I'd love to look at the numbers across university students, working-aged people, and retirees, I'm sure her market share remains gargantuan and her dominance Tayrannical
  19. Well yes, if you remove DWAS, almost every single track on Man's Best Friend has outstreamed the equivalent on Mayhem: Not only is Manchild a bigger hit than Abracadabra, but Man's Best Friend is a bigger seventh album that starts with M from a white American usually-blonde MPG who grew up within 100 miles of the Statue of Liberty than Mayhem (minus DWAS which was always meant to be there and everyone universally accepts as an integral part of the album)! Congrats Sabrina! Congrats GaGa!
  20. When we got chewed out on Tumblr for this assumption, oh it was serious
  21. And then her smash #2s (You Belong With Me, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, and I Don't Wanna Live Forever) for the deluxe
  22. Love Story (2009) I Knew You Were Trouble (2013) Shake It Off (2014) Blank Space (2014) Style (2015) Bad Blood (2015) Wildest Dreams (2015) Look What You Made Me Do (2017) Delicate (2018) Anti-Hero (2022) Karma (2023) Cruel Summer (2023) Is It Over Now? (2024) The Fate Of Ophelia (2025) Opalite (2026)
  23. For female songs it'll be Gabriela and then Opalite
