Jack is way more talented than generic Max Martin and you all need to stop pretending otherwise  

Wanting Max Martin back in production is like wanting a collab with Katy Perry. Cool if you like their music, but the time was ten years ago.

Had a dream we're getting a soft rock album that debuts with 2M copies in the US and makes Midnights look like just another cute lil era

Yeah she couldnt even get him for the rerecordings on Red  And idc if he is expensive af, she has MORE than enough money  Instead she made the pop classics on Red (TV) sound like some  knockoff karaoke instrumentals

Max has been tanking lately so I'm glad she's not working with him!

Max had his moment in the sun but he’s dated pop now and ya’ll need to accept it

Exactly! She's literally mega rich and can afford him if she wants to. You can tell she just went through the quick, easy, and cheap route by only hiring Shellback and letting Christopher Rowe do vocal production.

The number of production mistakes on Red TV goes to show how she truly rushed re-recording the songs so she can put them out as quickly as possible. She doesn't want to pay extra for better mastering and mixing....

Define tanking lol. Max literally produced the biggest song of the 2020s (Blinding Lights).

The Jack and Max mid-off needs to stop in this base. How about enough of both? 

 

It's hard to imagine her getting rid of Jack for good since they're friends but less involvement on TS11 etc would be much appreciated, and I think she knows that honestly. I don't mind him being on the TVs however.

Get some good ******* pop rock producers on TS11 she needs a new reinvention. Folkmore worked metanarratively because we were in such a lull and the world was bleak and sad, now the world is getting back up and there's a lot of frustration and pent up excitement and happy rage in the world its the perfect time for the mature version of Speak Now, a pop-rock era! 

 

She's entering her mid-30s now another Midnights synth-pop era would just be reductive tbh, she can have zero pure pop albums for the next 5 years and I'll be good honestly, another folklore would have no place in today's climate, a Sparks Fly though

i think she's not gonna work with max martin anymore. She made like 30 songs with him (or more) and 8-9 of them are bops there are gonna be forever classics on her concerts. It's enough.

 

Whatever producer is i think she's done with the pop machine stuff.

Its crazy that this was already said about her exactly a decade ago and now she's back to being the biggest name in the world 10 years later. Why would someone want a Max Martin produced album in 2023? 

 

I agree with one of the comment above saying that this is not the time for a return to the folkmore sound. That said, we need King Aaron to take the wheel if she stays in the pop lane because songs like The Great War, High Infidelity and Would've Could've Should've are perfect. Otherwise I'd like her to work with new producers on a pop-rock, alt-rock album for TS11.

Yeah, if there's an album I desperately want from Taylor, it's an indie-rock album with pop-rock elements. Something between folkmore and Plastic Hearts
