I think it's a challenging album and goes over many ATRLers heads, especially if (partial shade) they listen to something as straightforward and digestible as Sabrina Carpenter. It's a very low tempo album, it's not very typically "hooky", it has so many intricacies and references to older music and has a ton of interludes and spoken bits. It really is a journey you have to be in the mood for and if you pay attention, it rewards you accordingly. But people here just want a 3 minute Tate McRae song with a chorus that hits you over the head and don't have the attention span for CC so just write it off as boring.

Now lets talk about that mess of an album MAYHEM...

 

It truly embodies....mayhem

 

 

The first half of the album is great, the other half is filled with remastered dubs or outtakes from BTW or AP or any of her previous work

 

 

The album lacks cohesion, lyrically, thematically and sonically.....I guess it sounds like mayhem 

 

Yall are overhyping that generic pop album. My chest is clear, carry on.

 

 

Thinking about this classic 

Tate McRae has good performance skills, she is a GREAT dancer but baby she cant sing and half of her album has some bops while the other songs are unlistenable.

 

She is almost giving Dula Peep 2.0

This unreleased demo snippet being better than anything the swiffermop lady has ever put out.

 

Short n Sweet was a weak and generic pop album with a FEW good bops.

 

While Sabrina is an interesting and somewhat charismatic performer...she is basic and her vocals are lacking in a major way.

 

I'm rooting for her tho, she is a burst of fresh air in pop music.

 

Also, her eyes can be a bit scary

May every tongue that rises against Floppy Perr continue to rise.
