I think petal will be more successful domestically than internationally this time. I feel like her US Stans will jump on this Swift-lite type atmospheric slow pop, but outside of them the reception will be less grand in the rest of the world. Still expect it to break records though. Just not sure how this lead is going to play out past the first 2-3 weeks.

It's a bop still, but not crazy about Chief's part. Hopefully this will increase the songs exposure etc.

Production is top notch as are the vocals. The top line is weak though and overall the song doesn't really build and release tension like normal pop music. My fave part is the bridge but I find this her worst lead single off a quick first listen.
