Omg watching Miley's performance clips from the Bowl and it's painful She's singing like 30% of the time wtf happened to her voice? It's not like she has over toured it in recent years. She can't even keep up with her biggest hits. It feels like a parody of her especially the Bass Persuades performance.

It took awhile but Brit stans should've known this was coming, Katy has more modern classics on TD alone than Britney throughout her peak albums combined.

There is so much nonsense and built up anger here. Britney did nothing to influence Katy, producers or not. Katy's an actual artist, Britney is told how to sing each word and then it's stitched together. BOMT is forgotten and slowly Britney's presence is fading as well,sad but true. Those five #1 singles sold tens of millions of copies WW, so yes when rationed appropriately with streaming and single sales Teenage Dream is the bigger album, BOMT was released during the peak of album sales, of course it's gonna have huge physical units on its side. The fact is the album wasn't a years long era of hits upon hits like Teenage Dream was. One is a modern pop classic album, the other is a millennial nostalgia forgotten record that happened to be released at peak albums sales.

Miley's last two albums COMBINED have less than 450M streams combined on Spotify and what's worse, combined they are barely doing 1M streams daily. Katy was rightly dragged to hell and back quality wise for 143 but commercially speaking Miley's last two albums have performed even worse. Plastic Hearts + Flowers truly saved her from a whole decade of flopping. Her career trajectory is so unique. I feel the Cher comparisons are a bit premature but I totally get the idea behind it.

Great sales for France. Her latest releases have truly been her peak in Europe arguably.

I hope Nicki releases soon. The guaranteed messy rollout, questionable commercial reception this time around, complete loss of a competent glam team, etc. I fear the whole drama surrounding her MAGA turn will make for a decent first week but then she'll plunge and it'll have the worst longevity of her career.
