Both are fantastic R&B/pop albums and are a fan favorites.

Stripped for all. 

You can never beat the original, especially not when you're a worse writer and singer. Dirrty still slaps though.

Like I'm really sorry but the girls are literally not capable of serving sex up like this. This was literally the all-teak peak of diva behavior. The hair, the costumes, the shoes. There is nothing that Mariah could not turn into an excuse to show how hot and talented she is. How hard do you have to be serving for it to start being campy? Not a single other recording artist can relate.

 

 

This is before even getting into the fact that there are a handful of ballads on the album that are better than anything Christina has across her entire discography. It was already over for xtina in the first 30 seconds.

Both amazing, yet very different albums.

 

Butterfly clears. For me it genuinely is one of the best albums out there. The 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 punch from Honey until Whenever You Call is unmatched by any pop girl. Even by my own fave, who was the queen of quality albums.

I do pretend that the dull and uninspired Prince cover doesn't exist though, major stain on this magnificent album.

 

That doesn't take anything away from Stripped. Despite being quite long, it's a very captivating and passionate album. I love how it blends different genres, yet feels cohesive. It contains many highlights (Dirrty, Get Mine Get Yours, Beautiful, Walk Away and Impossible) and puts other similarly themed albums to shame.

Fighter is so good that it hurts. Like song of the year realness. I'm ok is pure perfection 

 

But so is The roof

 

 

I do really enjoy some of Stripped but consider it to be such an overrated project, far more lows than highs. 
 

Butterfly however is completely stunning front to back 

Honey is kinda the best song ever

 

Butterfly the album that you are

I prefer Butterfly over almost anything, but Stripped is great also! 

Not to take anything away from Stripped, but Butterfly is just THAT album  

this was a tough choice as they're both excellent albums but ultimately i voted butterfly for having the better singles & stripped for overall album
