This is factually incorrect, though, as Britney's streaming numbers have been rising for the past five years, and there's still this misconception about how the deal worked. She SOLD her rights to the catalogue; it doesn't mean Primary Wave is the sole owner of Britney's music, which is important to understand. Britney got her royalty percentage anticipated, but bigger players are still in the mix, including Sony/RCA.
