disagreed, she was dancing for a good 70% of the track which warrants the backing vocals, she chipped in vocally when needed

Yeah and that is why I would prefer she would have full playback of pre-recorded vocals /not studio version/ because like this you cannot hear bug part of vocals.

Oh i see what you mean, sorry I completely misread. Agreed :coffee:

she killed her hype with the rap album and is now seeing the results

aesthetics sure, but that fire in her eyes when she performs has never left

its only gotten better

That's true but there's just something that's not popping with this single, as seen by its chart performance.

I can't believe this isn't even charting on AM US :rip:

Maybe Apple Music is glitching like Spotify :ninja:

i don't even think she killed her hype, she still had some great music with scarlet. this song is lowkey just lame

PTTR and AH are hits tho it's more the aesthetics that killed the hype and between scarlet and vie she hasn't done anything to keep the attention

I hate the 80s aesthetic, it should've been left in 2020

Not good

will rise after the vmas impact obv

Yes perfomance was good love the 90s 2000s dance break.

However, sadly did 0 noise the song is kind of diying, I know Doja dont care about numbers or fame, or her fans LOL but clearly she has not created a strong fan base, she is simply supported beacuse she is very talented.

Doubt this will become a big hit, maybe they will go hard with the 2nd single, but lets see.

Yeah a lot of people (more than I expected) were turned off by her demon era. The spiders, the blood, I personally almost unfollowed her when she posted her nose bleed, that was f****** disgusting and not edgy. She gave weirdo in a bad way and not the Billie Ellish way.

Take away the spider imagery, released OkLoser instead of Demons (and kept that song off the album) and she would have been fine even with Attention being the first [promo] single. Or maybe done Love Life as the promo single since she was in that "I'm a rapper" vibe.

we will find out if the hype really died when vie drops.

Honestly, it was an amazing performance BUT it's not going to bring new listeners in because she barely sings the song and instead does a lot of adlibs.

Imo if you're trying to get your song to stick, sing the **** out of it. Don't just sing over it like everyone already knows the words.

just my opinion

SHE DANCED MORE THAN SHE SANG . DONT THINK THIS WILL HAVE ANY IMPACT ON SPOTIFY . BUT DAMN THE SONG IS A BOP
