  1. Should have had some sexy 2013 esque track to mark the occasion "Touch my" "mmm" "Smear my" "uhhh" "Throw my" "yeah" "Flick my" "BEAN" camilla adlib Oooohhhihooooo yeaahhh
  2. I love Tove so so much and Dirt Femme was everything to me. This era feels like she has the ingredients but not the recipe. All the elements are there that we should love, but it's not coming together like we expected. Also she raised the bar with Heat so that doesn't help either. I need their joint album bad.
  3. I know what the message is. You're failing to see the message within the message, where the men observe her in her current state, and consider her "overweight". Considering that Ari is aware she's seen as underweight by the public and that she's even acknowledged that perception, as well as previously associating to ED behaviour in the past, it's pushing the narrative to people watching that she gets ridiculed for needing to lose weight. Which is purposely designed to feed the validation that people with ED often push to others, knowingly or unknowingly. This is why you'll see circles like EDtwt try to validate their weight loss as social pressure by "body checking", to show off aspects that pass certain benchmarks, and will compare themselves to others, often in toxic ways like this where they post either themselves or others in underweight images implying they're overweight. Which in the video, Ari immediately does in the very next scene, she knowingly showcases her frame as one large body check in unnatural positions, after being told she was "overweight" in the previous scene. I love Ari and I absolutely wish her the best in everything, but this video was on purpose. She wanted people to feed into her hopes that they will discuss her weight, and validate her feelings. "She's said she's healthy", "healthy looks different on everyone", "she looks great" etc. The issue now that things are leaning overwhelmingly in a direction she didn't expect, because unfortunately it's safe to say she's deep into it at this stage. This was not a video that someone makes where they don't want you talking about their body. They didn't get the outcome they expected. I hope she gets the help she needs because once you get to this point where you're in denial or even having delusions about how people see you, it's hard to go back from this point mentally.
  4. This is why it's important to never assume someone has ED because you never know. But her latest video 100% plays into ED narratives, purposely has her body check to showcase her frame; and then purposely comments that she can afford to lose some weight. I know the whole idea is "she's sick of the criticism" but that scene is effectively designed to send the message that if you're as thin as she is, people out there will say you can afford to lose more weight. Literally no one who doesn't have an eating disorder is, but it's playing into that mindset and it's a purposeful moment in the video that people with ED feed each other on, and it's what you see in EDtwt and other circles all the time. She knew what she was doing and it's sad to see.
  5. I think this is very much needed. Regardless of what you think of her appearance, the visual and written commentary in her latest video draws past a very delicate line. Having ED is one thing, and it's not for people to attack her for. But to body check so openly in the video and then to write commentary that she could "afford to lose weight" is absolutely playing into a triggering ED narrative and I've already seen so many tweets suddenly appear from EDtwt that praise her for it. That's where it goes beyond acceptable. Even if you're not fully aware of how badly you have ED, most people who have ED are at least aware and Ariana has a past that has shown she is. While I absolutely do not believe that it's anyone's business to publicly shame or address her ED to her, there's an awful deflection side to ED where people indirectly or directly encourage other people who have it to keep going or to aim for an even lower weight, to normalise it for themselves and that's effectively what that scene aims to do. She's encouraging a narrative that is encouraging people who are dangerously thin to keep going. That whole scene should have been cut but they knew what they were doing imo. It was designed to cause controversy.
  6. She did the Attention tour with no issues, and that's where her vocals weren't as strong as now, she just really doesn't want to
  7. Everything you said was handled by her management. There was barely any radio playlisting, no streaming support etc. Easy Lover was screaming to be a hit and Columbia didn't send it to Radio yet was the closest thing to Flowers on the album. They did not give a damn. They saw her success with Flowers and expected things to be automatic.
  8. Flowers blew up and Columbia didn't feel like they needed to lift a finger since. Pretty much all the Promo we got was through Disney because of Miley's past with them, otherwise what promo was there that was handled by the label, not her management? Something Beautiful came and went because all they did was upload her music videos to YouTube and send only one single to radio.
  9. I loved this album and I played it on my Walkman ( ) and remember getting into Get Outta My Way so hard that it fell out of my pocket and smashed. Sooooo I guess that one Closer is magical though. Honestly it's her best album post Ultimate Kylie, it has aged so much better than X or Kiss Me Once despite X being my absolute guilty pleasure.
  10. I liked it in the same way I like the fitness versions of popular tracks that increase or boost the tempo with some Karaoke singer trying their best. Great for **** like that. no one's listening to 143 for anything more than that unless they are brain dead
  11. She has the worst reviewed album ever does she not? One of at least. I'd be absolutely shutting up about quality when Katy averages 1 - 3 songs that are actually good per album for over a decade.
  12. They're in the trenches because you've had ONE good single that wasn't a feat since 2015 (NRO) and paid it dust to promote Small Talk Imagine stanning someone that refuses to push a good song and can't even make a good music video to make up for it. You guys trying to defend her should question why you stan someone who gives you 5% of their talent.
  13. Kylie is a dance pop artist, but she would have rejected this. It's a generic nothingness. Kylie is purposely surface level pop but she's extremely good at it, and this would have been considered too generic/bland for either Disco or Tension 1/2. The hook is "love sensation, good vibration, love sensation" for crying out loud
  14. Rightttttt well this would be something Kylie would have rejected for being too bland Love sensation, good vibration, love sensation
  15. This would be really good if it had been for ES deluxe, but Twilight Zone sounds way more compelling as a lead. Really interesting choice by her.
