Well, it's not the end of the world if this doesn't go Top 10 or whatever. It happens. Although I think they could probably get it there on album release week if they tried. It's kind of like Tate's Sports Car (also on RCA) which peaked at #16 but was still a big hit from a big album.

The problem with Doja is that she doesn't have a solid international stan base. The 5 Anglo markets are carrying this on the global chart.

I remember when record labels would work hard and invest into carving out latin american and asian fanbases for artists. Hell what happened to the "Come to Brazil" campaigns? They're too lazy now.

I agree with some comments here it sounds very 80s very Blinding Lights this in 2020 or 2021 could had been huge 

 

 

Dua, The Weeknd, Beyonce and more already release this retro modern 80s kind of sound, she described the album very 80s not sure if in 2025 this could be a great sound 

 

+ why she refuse to conect with people or her fans, she perfom at the VMAs she didn't even bother to post anything at any social media she post a red carpet photo that's it give us stories, BTS rehearsal thing she barely conect with people.

I personally loved the entire Scarlet era and Demons in particular. It's in my top 3 from the album & def gives Tia Tamera energy at her live shows. The video was awesome too, as someone who loves horror. Sure, it turned off some fans and the GP who want more middle of the road imagery and clutch their pearls at anything related to or referencing the devil, but it also made some people (me) like her even more for giving us something edgy and unexpected from her.

Yeah I just think it's ironic because her album was released the month before Halloween and I saw the same people who were turned off by her demon imagery, dressing up for Halloween 

I've been abusing the replay button on this song since it dropped. I decided to log in to see what ya'll were saying about the songs success, and I'm surprised the song isn't doing better. 
 

I can tell Acts of Service is clearly the "Agora Hills" of this era. I'm ready when ever she decides to make that a single. I do however think she needs an uptempo smash first.
