Red Velvet was ignored in the dearALICE documentary show as well, they were never mentioned. SM just hates them.

 

Overall, the documentary seems to me like a propaganda mess and disrespectful to the artists who suffered hardships and mistreatment under his watch.

 

OT: I also noticed in the trailer that all the group shots of SNSD were like this...it seemed deliberate.

What makes those cases different from NJZ though is that the plagiarism was both coming from inside their own company and also trying to create direct competitors to them, instead of spiritual successors.

You can argue that sublabels (ADOR/BELIFT) should not be allowed (by HYBE) to have girl groups that have potentially conflicting concepts with similar market appeal. I personally don't agree with that since everyone in this insular, trend hopping industry is influenced by each other to some degree and Kpop is not a zero sum game.

You don't have to insist on these bogus plagiarism claims that still nobody here or in court can actually substantiate
