  1. IRENE day 1 sales for Like A Flower alone are higher than all the albums he ever sold in his career added together. So what now
  2. Oh eh oh eh oh eh oh It's a brand new era! Oh eh oh eh oh eh OH It sounds like a drama...
  3. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll be reporting it immediately to KWANGYA 119 for defamation of artist WINTER.
  4. Excited to hear the studio versions!! Though it's getting annoying that SM keeps throwing these songs out randomly. Could we not at least get a stage video or even a visualizer?
  5. That's what I mean by desperate, instead of trying to resolve the issues, they've decided to try criticizing the members to the public. It's surprising because you'd think YG would want to give their investors the impression that BP is still on side with the company...
  6. I wonder if BP's group contract is expiring now and the members have told YG they are not signing another one. They looked so done after GO and dropped the group activities like a hot potato. The fact YG is blaming the members for not communicating sounds so desperate, like the company has no control on the group activities anymore. A mess.
  7. They were debuted when LSM was still restricted to China by HYBE. These girls are Chinese and also speak English. But they don't speak much Korean (yet). A2O is currently casting Korean trainees. That will take some time. So I think LSM will use these girls as a proof of concept to investors to show off what this new company can do. They might pull a NiziU and get a Korean debut. But the big push for A2O will probably only come once LSM has a group with Koreans ready to debut.
  8. Very impressed by this performance
  9. aespa is starting a new world tour this week which will run until 2027, this is after their previous world tour finished only a few months ago in April. Plus they also had a Japan dome tour in addition to this. Music wise, they've already had a full album comeback and a Japanese mini album this year on top of that. Plus live schedules including Lollapalooza. They really don't need another comeback in Q4. It's way too much on the girls. I'll be happy if they have a comeback in March-May 2027 when the main leg of this new world tour has ended. SM should also be considering a unit or solo debuts next year too.
  10. Only 2 female releases in the whole of Q4? I was hoping for at least a SEULGI or JOY solo comeback Also not another H2H single. They would benefit from a full album sooner rather than later or at least another mini. aespa got away with not having a full album for so long, because they had multiple smashes plus million selling albums, but even then SM was pushing it.
  11. I mean that's not hard since SM did many things to botch Cosmic release and promotion. I'm glad Surfin' Boy is doing well though, it's a great song. In terms of charts, the more tricky issue is that IRENE albums sold 3-4x higher on Hanteo 1st day than the group.
  12. Surfin' Boy is for those who appreciate the finer things. It's like a serving of caviar or a glass of Krug. Only if your pallette is capable of attuning to the intricacies of the experience can you truly appreciate the levels of detail and quality that lead to the final, spectacular product.
  13. Ooh! Ahh! Ooh! I WANNA KISS N TELL
  14. Shakira was the only one who delivered. This competition does not need a half time show and here is the proof. Also, everything was running late. The second part of the match was delayed for this mess.
  15. We are SO back! ❤️💛💙💚💜
  16. Please, she's not made any serious attempt. Most recently, she clearly emailed in the vocals for Friend of Mine from her phone whilst in the bathroom. And she appears for like 4 or 5 seconds in the music video, where she just opens and closes a door.
  17. I'm very surprised about this update, since Kep1er's company wasn't playing ball. Glad Yujin can participate (idk if she's performing with them though??) and Helicopter now won't be the last we see of this group. All they need next is a good song
  18. Do we even know what is happening with BLACKSWAN, bring any tea if you have it because I looked for updates and their company has been silent about any music since that "special" AI video they released like 6 months ago for an older song. They were also excluding Fatou from activities, so idk what is going on. Their last comeback was I LIKE IT HOT like over 1 year ago with the MV filmed in Dubai. Although it seems the money quickly ran out because the performance video was so low budget. It's a mess. Also a shame because the members are talented, they have so much potential if they had the budget of a major company
  19. KISS N TELL performance in Japan It's giving a little too much H2H teas, but it's a cute bop and the vocals are great. Finally some NINGNING high notes again.
  20. Nowhere did I deny that. Like I said, I don't care for the argument, but your comparison of album sales from 2011 (SNSD) vs. 2021 (BTS) didn't show any true context of the impact and hardships SNSD went through when they established a new Hallyu wave in Japan. To use a known phrase, SNSD paved the way for K-Pop groups (and girl groups in particular) in Japan from the 2010s onward.
  21. She's the original. She's unforgettable.
  22. They've been sexually harassed at debut in a publicly released manga too? There's a precedent for BTS' struggles in Japan because a path through those kinds of issues was charted before by SNSD. K-Pop fanbases are also much bigger now and a large core fanbase still remained in Japan for K-Pop post-2011, which as you pointed out, helped BTS maintain success in Japan despite difficulties. SNSD did not have that and had to earn their popularity the hard way, in the face of harsh challenges and additional hardships simply for the fact they are a female group. SNSD was also excluded from Kohaku in 2012 due to political tensions that had nothing to do with them, as well as other issues including a host being racist/xenophobic to their face, following a performance of The Boys (Japanese ver.). Many of these issues would cause a company to withdraw from the market, but SNSD broke through regardless.
