At least I think we can agree ENGDODPEN has one of the most interesting and consistent lores in K-pop. Mind you this quote and drawing goes back to Manifesto era in 2022 :bird:

I never said ENGODPEN invented camp, be serious, just that they were one of the first groups from HYBE that did camp, but you can admit that aespa weren't the pioneers of camp either, why is always so difficult jesus

I never said my girls invented the concept neither but it's kinda funny why are you including them as groups who got inspired from Enha when they have been  unapologetically campy, artsy fartsy since debut, hope that helps  :flower2:

Please, maybe I cannot express myself well because english is not my first language, but I never said in my post they were inspired by Enha. How could I when both Accendio and Supernova were released before Brought the Heat Back? Not everyone wants to start a war with MYs or any stans for the record nor is so obsessed with whom copied whom or did this or that first, hope that helps too and sorry for praising my faves for doing something I think is on trend just like everyone in here does :flower2:

she may not said the word but we can't invalidate that many of her POC fans were disappointed.

Tho it's good she still owned it up and APOLOGIZED, never did it again. can't say the same thing for like 99.9% of the industry :coffee2:

it's not how they sound at all pls. im tired of this narrative lmao aespa is one of the most acclaimed groups in korea and are getting awards that very few idol groups got. yall think they'd be so acclaimed by professionals if their lyrics sounded bad?? koreans have standards too :rip: there's a reason why most of the groups you guys discuss on here are completely unknown in korea

edit: the lyrics of their earlier songs were weird but that's because it was filled with made up words. it was still catchy and sounded good and served theatrics and conceptual art. that's why next level got one of the most prestigious musical accolades in korea which only three idol groups got before them

Why are we even comparing Katseye to Aespa when the former has yet to release a song above 2:40:bibliahh:

I guess they finally get the clearance for this.

This was supposed to be on Midas Touch Single

I finally listened to Eye Candy, it reminded me of this song I forgot existed :jonny3:

They actually had faith in the song... oh it's bad for them

Teddy really did it again for us ethnic people :jamming:

This sounds dated af

I can't believe this group release Blue Hour, Crown and 0x1 Lovesong, now they release very uninspired songs imo

I will always eat up an Ethnic Hip bop from Teddy

What happened to Gi-kwang voice? He sounds more nasal than ever.

Doojoon and Dongwoon sound way more pleasant. Yoseob has always been great.
