  1. Not you getting clocked so bad that you have to pretend MOWTY is a single now What do you think a single is? Literally EVERY album track gets lyric videos. That's the standard now. Every single song from Olivia's album has a lyric video. That was 2013 when only singles got lyric videos - in 2026 every single song gets a lyric video. Your argument literally falls apart seeing as Beyonce has lyric videos for all of her non-singles, too: Also, complaining about non-singles having more than one track is so funny when your fave has tons of non-singles with extra versions, too, like Ave Maria, If, Flaws and All, Welcome to Hollywood, At Last, etc. Every song is now a promotional single. The term has been retired because a promotional single is just a song that's available for purchase or streaming
  2. I don't need to name anything else. Britney's biggest non-single (455M) has more streams than Beyoncé's (302M) and Christina (112M) combined. You're the one trying to change the criteria because you got clocked. Same with the FF situation. I said Lemonade was doing poorly because it was getting outstreamed by an album released prior to the streaming era with fewer singles, less promo and no boosts from recent releases. And your excuse was that the B-sides have higher streams, which negates nothing I said nor does it change the fact that FF pulls more streams. @Shelter is technically the angriest and nobody's even bothering to clock Xtina. Like literally why are they mad Welp
  3. It's literally a non-single, album track from a random 2000s compilation album. Beyonce has a cover of the Christmas standard "Ave Maria" that has 71,989,204 streams on its standalone track despite receiving promo. Destiny's Child has a Christmas album with a deluxe version and singles released at only 188,502,876. You can combine all of those and it's barely 260M streams. So please tell me how it's commonplace for a random b-side to hit 455M streams just because it was a Christmas song. Bonus: your fave's heavily promoted Christmas album, My Kind of Christmas, is at 291,669,381. This album literally predates the streaming era and none of the B-sides have any promotion, the album has horrendous playlisting and it has not even received a new release boost since 2022. What did you expect? And I was one of Beyoncé's earliest stans. I'm only negative on here when her fans come for Britney. You can literally go into any recent threads and find me supporting Beyonce or Swissman (the nicest Hive member on ATRL). Again, you came into a troll thread set up by a Little Monster and then took the bait to try and dunk on Britney so maybe don't pretend to be holier than thou.
  4. Also, one final dunk since you're just flat out wrong. The most streamed non-single of the 2000s by a female artist is "My Only Wish (This Year)." It's at 455M Spotify streams despite Britney only acknowledging it one time for less than 20 seconds. Beyonce's most streamed non-single is Alien Superstar at 304Mz Side note: you'd probably find the Army to be a lot nicer to you if you weren't always on the offensive first.
  5. That the Hive is doing? I agree. Of all the girls to scream "payola" or "fake streams," you all should be LAST in line. Just because your fave's flopping doesn't mean she didn't cheat Why would the Army need to make excuses for Britney having more 1B+ songs than Beyonce and Christina? There's no way at your big age that you didn't realize that "album boosts" exist. It's literally been a part of chart vernacular since 2016. Stop embarrassing yourself. Lemonade had more playlisting than any Britney album ever and a larger promo schedule than any Britney album since 2003's "In The Zone." It's disastrous that it's doing less than Femme Fatale daily. The biggest kii is that this was a set-up for the Hive by a Little Monster and they took the bait, only to alienate the one fanbase that was actually supportive of Beyonce everytime the Swifties and Little Monsters attacked them.
  6. Britney has released 35 songs since the start of the streaming era total. Beyoncé has released over 100 MORE than her Nice try. Beyonce's the artist that has been caught paying for airplay AND faking streams. Coming for Britney for autoplay or playlisting while she's the pop girl with the smallest push on airplay and streaming is beyond stupid Beyonce literally only has a solo career because of payola. Why would you all bring that up when Britney actually made it as an indie artist while your fave's label bought Beyonce airplay? Beyonce's been strong on playlisting since streaming came out. She only took a hit when she tried to launch TiDAL so she could fake her streams there.
  7. Your fave, the girl that performed at the Britney Spears Performing Arts Camp and grew up as a Britney stan and got her career by signing to Britney's manager (Dan Dymtrow) and covered Britney regularly and makes music inspired by Britney Spears and recreated iconic Britney looks and videos many times in her career? We honestly need to set you up with @D.M.F and you can bond over stanning Britney's influence
  8. Morgan's success in the 2020s is almost laughable. Dangerous: The Double Album - 165 weeks - 11x Platinum One Thing At A Time - 153 weeks - 11x Platinum I'm The Problem - 65 weeks - 7x Platinum If I Know Me (2010s) - 1 week - 4x Platinum His next era already has a hit single and will probably give him his fourth Diamond album. He'll be the only artist EVER to have 4 Diamond-albums within his first twenty years. And he already has 6 Diamond singles, too
  9. I was going to say the same thing. @sunny is a JYP stan. He hasn't heard a good vocal since 2nd gen This weird ass attack like Lara's best vocal moments aren't all ran through a live autotune system. Her "lives" even use autotune software (see: My All, for example). I love the good sis and she's the biggest gag of fifth gen by far, but Jessica actually sings live and has one of the greatest tones in pop music. Not too much on her. And instead of dragging either of these women, let's acknowledge that they're both two of the greatest aces that K-Pop has ever seen
  10. Everyone knows that Giselle and Ningning are dating each other
  11. She got back with Ricky whom she dated during Dangerous Woman. She dressed like a bunny during that era. It's about him, most likely. This isn't pitch-correction, diva. This is purposeful auto-tuning for effect. Your thread title is misleading and it seems to be purposeful. And the last bit is tea. The artists who use truly live vocal mic feeds are few-and-far between. The average person can't even tell the difference anymore and it protects the artist's voice so much that I don't get why everyone is trashing it. I remember the backlash towards Mariah, Whitney, MJ, etc. for "losing their voices." It's not worth it to sing live 100% of the time.
  12. Literally heard Flowers and WCBF today. Go outside of your house for a change, sister. And it's not fair. Willow deserves to be a CLASSIC. Public spaces typically play remembered hits, not current top 40 songs. Literally "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac is the 37th biggest song of the decade so far. It has moved more units this decade than the top song of the 2010s, Shape If You, did in its first decade.
  13. My problem with ATRL is that so many of you girls want to stan numbers but you don't have the critical thinking skills necessary to analyze them. You're comparing two albums in different time periods, CTTT and Confessions II, and you're shocked that a physical era artist charted better in a physical-dominated chart than a physical era artist in a streaming-dominated chart. Like what the **** did you expect?
  14. I listen to singers. I very rarely listen to people who can't sing (Foxes).
  15. Two reasons. Mutt Lange was the husband of Shania Twain and he cowrote or wrote almost all of her music. He had just worked on the most successful female solo album of all-time and so JIVE offered him a single before his song was even finished. It's not abnormal for huge producers to secure "single" status when signing contracts to produce for an artist. Britney was an indie artist and JIVE/Zomba had a hard time cracking formats outside of Top 40. Single sales were dying and the Hot 100 was increasingly radio-dependent so they were trying to break Britney into the HAC/AC radio formats. They didn't know it would never work because other labels (Columbia, Epic and Universal) were busy paying for airplay and cannibalizing Britney's opportunities. It just sucks because JIVE had the budget to give Britney more than four singles, but they didn't bother using it to push OIDIA.
  16. As long as it's not Foxes, it's a WIN for everyone. "Clarity" sucks so bad that KATSEYE wouldn't touch it. Baby, ITZY came out in 2018, not 2008. Isn't only one of them famous, and just because he was jealous Aespa beat them for a #1 spot on a music show?
  17. This isn't a fair comparison since TTPD, Midnights and TLOAS all got re-releases before their 61st day.
  18. Yes, because if there is one artist that is protecting the environment and fighting against the MAGA movement, it's Taylor Swift Damn, that's crazy. Can you post Taylor's Spotify streams before-and-after she joined Republic? I'd like to see how many she owes to autoplay. OT: Billie Eilish has huge European appeal and the fans she reaches are young and consume music by streaming. It's no shock to see her dominate streaming.
  19. I was going to say that girls with no taste hate this song, but @sunny beat me to it. I'm so mad they still haven't put their other songs on streaming. The OST was literally perfect.
  20. The song lacks a strong melody. Try humming it and you can see how weak it is. Leona tried to save it with belts, but that was not nearly enough.
  21. Literally a creative genius. They feel like a perfect blend of f(x), aespa and NewJeans all at the same time yet still completely fresh. 404 won me over and this new EP made me a fan. As we've seen from HYBE's own internal documents, they pay for negative hit pieces and have a huge focus on tearing aespa down. Dispatch articles don't just magically appear. I literally didn't see aespa fans mentioning nor even engaging with the rumors at first until they had to debunk a bunch of them. Most platforms literally are plagued with 40 year old women with parasocial relationships trying to tear Winter down because they're concerned she might be dating "their" man. After Lolla, some of those fans were trying to compare Winter's body to a raw chicken. And for what it's worth, I hate HYBE as a company, not necessarily the artists. I think they're victims in all of this, too.
  22. I hate to see something this negative happening and the horrible effects it had on the victim, but I am so glad it's being aired out BEFORE the election. We need to keep monsters like this out of our political sphere.
  23. This is a still from the "I Love Rock 'N Roll" music video shot in April 2002! She was too ******* gorgeous that day It actually is a magazine outtake from Cosmo Girl in 2003. Her work with Patrick Demarchelier will ALWAYS be the standard I think that has a lot to do with the fact that ITZ was a full era whereas Blackout was basically a photo shoot. ITZ's theme was more about a transition to adulthood and locking in for popstar promotions whereas Blackout only got a single nightclub/showgirl photoshoot. But Ellen definitely did her thing with that shoot
  24. This is a Copypasta, sis. It's a joke. Why do you think a receptionist would have been involved in anything creatively? They literally just field phone calls, transfer phone calls and send guests to the right area LOL @Rian Can we get a note added to the OP for context? Here's the original:
  25. The notion that "Criminal" killed the era as if we were getting a fifth single. We could have had a "Choosin' Texas"-sized hit and JIVE still would have pulled the plug after four singles.
