Then your problem is not that the song was a former b-side but that Giselle says is similar to Armageddon. 

Personally, I enjoyed Armageddon.

 

 

What I hope is that the vibe of the mini is built around the song they reserved to be the title track and not a random collection of songs they like (again).

Speaking of acts from SM.
I actually took the time to listen to Ten's mini and I really liked it. 

 

Don't kill me for this, but is stronger than what a lot of GGs and female acts released this year. Title track and all.

I actually like Center 1's vision for aespa so far, obviously there has been some good luck for the girls too, but this team definitely got them into a good direction after Girls era ended up being a bit messy.

 

Don't forget, Spicy was also a song they had laying around before they decided to make it a title track. And with Whiplash, it was an English single they decided to repurpose as a Korean title track. I bet if people had known that before release, there would have been similar bad reactions, but look how it turned out.

 

Mistakes can be made though, so I'll be waiting for the song itself, we don't know much about it yet.

SM is the biggest entertainment company in the country. it's like working for samsung. it's WAYYY harder to get in let alone debut than in any other company so SM's artists are some of the most hard working idols in the entire country. + giselle got tons of backlash at first so she probably trained harder

That's why I'll always admire Sehun for debuting and remaining on a SM group without ever trying to be more than just okay.

SM debuted a group of tvxq rejects (suju) the standards aren't always high, look at riize outside sohee.

TIL Lee Hyori was accused of plagiarism by the co-writers of Britney Spears's song Do Somethin' in 2006 for her single Get Ya. Lee Hyori denied her song was plagiarizing Britney's. They never took legal action so one can assume there was some sort of settlement.
