She was still the best rapper of the group since debut though. She has also always been a good singer, and also had the best tone in the group, since debut as well though

hurt isn't a title and didn't have a MV and it was a smash in korea

 

 

it's not their fault they had a top notch marketing and made music videos through collaborations with brands like Apple, Coca Cola, Powerpuff Girls etc.. it was literally genius for newjeans' branding and success. this is exactly what the members have been talking about. under min heejin, the marketing team and art team was basically working in tandem and were successful at what they were doing and hybe changed the entire system once they fired min heejin

 

so they were getting AMAZING songs and good marketing

oh i'm not disagreeing that she was still more talented at debut than most of idols. but ALL of aespa are incredibly talented so...

 

My queen Visuelle really needs to make the pink color her signature look, just like Chaewon making the black bob hers.

So whenever locals discover her for the first time they refer to her as "the girl with pink hair" and it becomes part of her brand

completely disagree with the idea that rappers and non-singers need to get every line that's not vocally challenging. 
 

NingNing absolutely DEVOURED her 2nd verse in Whiplash. I cannot imagine any of the other girls tone delivering like hers did.

 

Sometimes it's just about delivery.

Lowkey amazing how she managed to do in 3 years (become a competent performer) what others (clc eunbin) couldn't do their entire careers 

I've seen Sistar fans suggesting to give Dasom all the "easy" parts and thanks goodness the producers knew what they're doing. Imagine missing Hyolyn's amazing lower voice on the bridge of Touch My Body or on the entire second verse of I Swear

I'm 100% sure that SM pretty much tortures their idols to improve (well, on smaller groups at least...). Taemin's skills were basically non-existent on SHINee's first two years.

Speaking of line distributions, the way SKZ have arguably the most fair line distribution in Kpop especially for a group with 8 members

Like the fact that there's only 5 seconds between the member with the most lines and least lines in Chk Chk Boom
