  4. FRI(END)S is actually V's (Kim Taehyung) solo song.
  5. The person on the far left that everyone is talking about : V
  6. From what I can see, BTS isn't receiving much backlash. The criticism is mainly focused on the fact that more people were squeezed in instead of the original three, making the show unnecessarily crowded. The audience was actually quite pleased with their performance; after Shakira, they received the loudest applause and cheers.
  7. Do you think Madonna or Shakira's performances would be better than BTS's if they sang live? Let's not kid ourselves. On the contrary, if they hadn't sung live, BTS would probably have delivered a more dance-heavy performance.
  8. New to KPOP? lol Didn't you know that Kpop groups sometimes pause in the middle of a song and let the background music play, so that it shows they're actually singing live? BTS, in particular, does this a lot. There's a moment like this in almost all of their live performances.
  9. If they hadn't done it, they would have been criticized for lip-syncing like Shakira and Madonna are. They did the best in a lose-lose situation.
  10. Madonna, BTS, and Shakira were probably the names considered. Adding others didn't create the desired impact because it reduced the time of those three; otherwise, I think BTS could have squeezed in a piece with a dance break, as you said. At least the audience seemed pleased with their performance.
  11. I mean, after playing two concerts back-to-back, they flew from France to US and arrived at the venue with almost no rest. Despite that, I think they did quite well.

  14. "Favorite (Vampire)" by NCT127 has now surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. This is their 5th song to achieve this milestone, and the 741st song by a Kpop act to do so. 15. 1. [+199, -4] You'd think that they didn't get paid? They received all their salaries, so what is she going on about "treatment they deserve"? 2. [+167, -1] The truth is none of them have any interest in becoming an actress. It's better to just stay in the company... Do they know how many successful cases of someone leaving groups promotion to promote alone there are? 3. [+161, -5] Go pay back your money first.. ㅋㅋ 4. [+40, -2] First of, it's better if the parents get their hands off her business. There's nothing good that can come out in the celebrity industry when parents start to meddle. ^ This 5. [+17, -1] Stay away from that mother-daughter who dine and dash. The mom is committing dine and dash, it's only right for the daughter to pay everything back...
  16. But that's the point of our discussion (not with you but with the other user). BTS owes its popularity in Japan not to other groups, but to overcoming all its own challenges and achieving success, just like SNSD once did. To deny the fact that is simply to bury your head in the sand. The albums I'm comparing may be over 10 years apart, but that doesn't negate the challenges both groups faced. BTS even had a tougher time because social media have much more powerful cancel culture.
