Never. She has so many hits she'd have to perform for an hour or so to make everyone satisfied with her choices.

it will end her carreer when people see her performing without editing tricks

Probably when she isn't on a massive tour and after the TVs are all out. She's so massive that the Super Bowl organizers would have to accommodate anything she wants, like how Rihanna promoted her Fenty brands.

It'll probably be the highest rated halftime ever when it does happen. It's a career staple so I'd be surprised if she never wanted to

The moment a single or an album isn't successful is when she will do it !

I mean, I think it's more so a matter of when she approaches the NFL and states she'd like to do the Superbowl. I think she just doesn't want to do it.

Ideally/realistically, I can she her waiting to perform when she's starting a brand new era. However, she really doesn't need the Superbowl halftime show. It use to be a bigger deal in the 2010s, but now it seems it's more of a platform for legacy/older legends acts (minus Rihanna - but considering she's never releasing music again, she probably falls under the legacy act.)

it will make sense to do it after all TVs are released, with possibly new album out or on the way, as a final victory lap to solidify her status as a legend

she is the one artist (out of very few) that can do it once she's ready, on her own terms, not when she gets the offer knowing this might be her only chance - she will have it this year, next year and in 5 years too

I hope she never does. If Our Song couldn't even make a 44 song tour setlist, I dare not imagine how underwhelming I'd find her Superbowl set. :doc:

Probably after she breaks up with Travis and she no longer gets free attention by association from the NFL.

There's rumors that the NFL asks her every year and she always says no. I don't see her doing it anytime soon, and she doesn't need it anyway. Y'all already complain that she's overexposed/everywhere :suburban:

Maybe when she's much older and wants a platform to announce a tour or something.

When her career slows down and she thinks she could use the benefits that a Super Bowl Halftime Show brings, aka more ticket sales, promoting new music, boosting one's catalog, (re-)gaining public attention & interest etc., all things Taylor doesn't lack right now.

Most, if not all of the other female headliners have done it after their peak years when they weren't the #1 artists in the world anymore. Some of them did it decades after their biggest heydays. I'd expect Taylor to follow their example too.

SB is huge promo that she doesn't need right now, she will when it is needed or for a particular purpose.

What kind of logic when Kendrick Lamar, Billboard's Top Popstar of 2024, is headlining the 2025 HT show? :deadbanana:

This is the answer. Anyone who's falling for the masters propaganda doesn't understand the woman is a business shark first and foremost which implies she out of all her peers cares the most about chart success and will see the Super Bowl as a comeback opportunity once the sales start dropping a bit. The way TTPD has performed internationally compared to other albums this year and not scoring a big hit is one step closer to her deciding to do the Super Bowl.
