I am in awe, I can't believe we are living at the same time as Madonna releasing her first album in 7 years to nearly unanimous critical acclaim and music fans being obsessed this might never happen again, but that does not matter at all - she is the greatest popstar the world has ever seen and the fact that she's still doing it at 67 is a miracle incredible album, I would list my faves, but out of 16 it would be like 10 tracks - highlight after highlight. record more than worthy of Madonna's all-time legendary discography, with so many sound details and lyrics adding to her already insane life story. what a legend she is, there will never be another there should be a ban to anybody trying to compare any other artist to her, she is genuinly one of one

the disrespect towards Out of Time and Celebrity is crazy to me... especially the former since it's the best song on Starfucker Crank outside of top5 is concerning... it's career highlight St. Loser is bottom on the new album, great song, but does not come close to the best ones on the record, I'm a bit sad my 0 didn't do what it was supposed to lol Beat Up Chanels is easily her greatest achievement this rate was a bit pointless, wasn't it? lol next time just don't bother I guess

but THIS IS ROBYN, not "a new artist". she created the sound, she has absolutely every right to exploit and explore it as much as she can. the context is key when it comes to popstars that have been in the game for 3 decades. she's got Resident Recommends from Resident Advisor and a glowing review on The Quietus - two music sites that easily brush over new releases if they are not interested in reviewing them, yet here we are. the album is absolutely fantastic, the two comments I have are - it's obviously too short and I wish there was one more song more in line with the title track, since it's otherwise an outlier. but I really can't complain too much, she delivers every single time
