  1. A song with less than 300M streams in almost 3 months being a smash hit, the standards for Olivia are so low… It will take stupid song almost twice as long as LUNCH to hit 300M streams, and not even her most die-hard stans are calling that one a global smash hit.
  2. I fear not for another 20 or 30 years. Conservatives control all of the major social media sites, increasingly the major corporations are also run by Republican or Conservatives and the 2030 US census will make it harder for Democrats to win the presidency and Congress elections for a long time (mentioning this, because so much of the global conservative movements leaks out of the US), so yeah, it's over.
  3. Looks in your 20s, Personality in your 30s and above
  4. Ahh yes, then he proceeds to cast Jacob Elordi, the peak of masculinity… He's just mad that he's a washed up director and needs to accept the reason why he keeps bombing at the box office is himself.
  5. Not surprising. They were clearly counting on her album being a huge cultural and commercial force like HMHAS, to recover from SOUR-to-GUTS dip. So when she failed to book even one global smash hit, let alone two as Billie did, it must've made her unhappy. It's never easy to accept that you're the lesser of two.
  6. I have a feeling she booked the Super Bowl. It wouldn't make sense to have these two huge performance slots in the same year.
  7. She just recently had a massive sold-out tour, is the only one out of her peers who is selling out stadiums worldwide, Training Season is going mega viral and her wedding dominated headlines all over the world for a week straight. So no, the ceiling hasn't been reached yet.
  8. No it's this: Single handedly changed the trajectory of her career
  9. Idk what Anna Wintour was smoking if she thought she could do a Galliano exhibit without backlash These old execs and CEOs really live in a bubble.

It seems pretty obvious to me that the original plan was to drop Act III this year, probably with a spring launch, but for whatever reason, it got delayed. Her going to the Met Gala for the first time in 10 years just because Blue wanted to go never really made sense to me when she just could've gone with her father. Current day Beyoncé doesn't make such huge public commitments without there being some sort of gain or benefit. Maybe she wasn't happy with the music, needed more time, or simply wanted this year to be about Jay and all his anniversary events and 30th celebrations. The B'Day anniversary edition feels like something she quickly put together to boost her music income in an otherwise very quiet year. It just feels so random and out of nowhere. The only explanation that really makes sense to me for why B'Day is getting a 20th anniversary edition while DIL didn't is that DIL's anniversary coincided with the Renaissance Tour and that whole era.
  11. Justin has something between his legs that Katy does not. That's the only reason.
  12. Yes she is a legacy act now, I mean she's on her 8th album after all. People need to stop treating legacy act as a negative term. It just means her legacy is established, and her overall body of work now carries her fame more than her latest album or hit. Yes, Petal and HTIMYLM are successes, but they've done virtually nothing to change her career or standing. Without them, she'd be in basically the same place. All the veteran pop girls from the late 00s/early 10s are legacy acts now. Nothing they release is going to fundamentally change how the public sees them, what their biggest hits are, or how famous they are. If their careers were novels, the main story would already be finished and everything now would just be the (long) epilogue. That's in contrast to younger artists like Dua, Olivia, and Billie, who are still actively shaping their careers, public images, and legacies with each new project. Their stories could still go in any direction.
  13. Watch Billboard credit Drake for all of Choosin Texas' 20 weeks at #1 like they gave Ariana full credit for Save Your Tears and Die For You's entire chart runs.
  14. That's a rough 18 years old hunni
  15. primarily female audience vs. primarily gay male audience
  16. Imagine already being worth hundreds of millions and still accepting these hiring gigs as if you're a court jester or a prostitute on call.
  17. I guess Monsters won't be among the crowd lashing the next pop girl who books a Dubai gig
  18. She really is GP poison. No organic hits, not organic longevity, no organic debuts, no organic touring demand… everything she has accomplished is because of her cult fanbase.
  19. Same reason why she's never been asked to headline the Super Bowl. No GP appeal.
  20. Is Olivia Dean's The Art Of Loving and the way ATRL keeps ignoring her is lowkey giving racism
