Well we've seen what happend with big albums and their follow up… 

 

WWAFA > HTE everyone hated Billie

SOUR > GUTS still succesful but not nearly as much as Sour

FN > RO the biggest flop of all time.

Planet Her > Scarlet ouuuu dont make that face.

 

So Sabrina's next album is looking to be a underperformance which means the throne will be claimed by Holyivia again

 

There's no telling about it. I mean just look at Olivia, how she was like THE iT girl with her debut but was DRAGGED through the mud during award season with the OST song (which won NOTHING) and her sophomore effort which literally SLUMPED and she's literally NO WHERE during the award season we're having and will likely win NOTHING.

and the opposite happened with Billie, how people thought she'd just do "okay" with HMHAS but she's literally DEFYING all expectations and doing exceptional (only artist outdoing her is Taylor). so you can't tell anything about the future.

Yeah. She's an album artist. 362k debut #1 album is huge.
Not everyone has that to their credit

 

It's the TikTok era with minimal attention spans. I'll be surprised if she lasts.

sounds like a valid question to me, even Olivia's fate was asked about several times 

 

i really don't get why do we get defensive when Sabrina was asked the same questions Olivia was asked about the same things  but it's so hard to tell these days. atrl and stan twitter were so sure Billie peaked when HTE underperformed, but look at her now.

Too many fans from the get-go to just start flopping. She's too perfect image-wise right now so as long as she serves bops she'll be fine. Although she'll need to switch it up at one point but I don't see her going anywhere. If she does it'll easily be the biggest MPG drop since Paula Abdul. 

Only time will tell. But she will have to change the image next time around, I feel like, people will quickly get sick of this "persona."

and that is very much possible, and maybe that will be her thing... but I do feel like that if done correctly she should change the image/sound with the next album to avoid overexposure or people getting tired of her. 

if we're being real i think she'll have maybe like 1-2 decent sized eras but she'll eventually move back into acting once her career slows down  

If she can get herself another Espresso 

Her next album will not be as big because the shiny new girl factor will be gone (she's not new but from a GP perspective), the relationship with Barry will wear off/be over, and it's just not likely for lighting to strike twice.

 

But if her next album performs like the 3x platinum HTE or the platinum GUTS, I don't see how that's terrible either. She has a fanbase at least unlike others.

 

 

if she follows the katy perry-dua lipa formula, I'm afraid that this is going to be her peak era

Three-ish eras ?

This might be her peak but I can see her successfully sticking around for a while. Her fans seem pretty invested in her on a personal level.

She's really good. Good songs, nice lyrics, good vocals, pretty, likeable in interviews... The only thing that's missing for me is uniqueness. She's not the type of artist you can identify just by hearing their voice or sound, her visual elements aren't that unique either. She could slip because she's too generic, or she could rise even higher because she doesn't offend anyone. Could go either way.

I think her album's debut sales proved she has a fanbase and is more than just Espresso or Please Please Please, so yes. She really worked her ass off to get to this point, it doesn't feel like just a fluke. Her tour also sold out instantly, which is obviously super impressive since SNS is like a debut album for the majority of the GP.

 

I don't think she'll get another album bigger than SNS since it's so huge thus far, but you can never say for sure in the current era of music. Literally anything can happen.

I think she will, she's got a fanbase. Her next album might not be as big but I can't see her being Dua'd/Katy'd
