Nobody was expecting this to be too big for too long. No promo. They shipped CDs earlier than the official release date because they knew it would help pushing it into TOP 10 as it did well. There's no music video. No performance in UK (only one at Pride in Amsterdam). And as much as Kylie and Madonna fans play it it's not enough to keep it in charts let alone let it go higher. What they should do is create more physical versions - both camps are really good at buying physical copies, more vinyl variants, remixes, music video and get both of them spamming it. Maybe a quick performance. I think they both did it for fun and it did better than expected. It would be amazing to see them actually go #1 with it but they also have to work for it... it won't just happen.

Umbrella (all all the other singles were hit after hit of a great quality) was a massive hit and to many the first introduction to Rihanna. The Music was good, simple as that.

Incredible album. The wait, the hype it all deserved. Bizzare, Love Without Words, Danceteria, Good For the Soul my favourites at the moment. Love how Bizzare reminds me of Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics.

One of the best albums this year. A little weaker than her's Prioritise Pleasure, but still really good.

It would be so cool if Lily stayed stable for one more week, I love Florence and I am utterly happy she got another #1 but her drop will be quite big and I'd love Lily to get that #1

Imagine having the audacity telling Madonna, to her face, that Ray of Light or Music didn't do well commercially.

And I hope so! I hope her new label is going to not only support her but encourage her to not stop for another long break. I hope she'll use this momentum of West End Girl to work on a new album perhaps for next autumn on spring 2027.

I wish this was a visual album with a high budget. Incredible album.

So happy for her, the album deseves it. Imagine if she had physicals available, too? It would be #1 The smash.
