With momentum being on MY side, it is time to bring this discussion back. Which one of these shock you the most, ATRL? Since 2006, when Taylor Swift first entered the music industry, she's been known to have said certain petty things or shown actions that paint a petty character. To really put this into analysis, I've taken it upon myself to show a detailed timeline into all the actions that can be questioned as petty / vengeful. Doesn't Taylor herself contribute to misogyny by making songs about other female artists where she is basically putting them to shame? Charli made a heartfelt song about her own insecurities with women like Taylor and their stature and instead of responding to that in an earnest way she basically said 'haha but you do coke and you're a mess I got you'. Not to mention the amount of times she's used upcoming women in the industry and threw them away like yesterday's trash when they no longer benefit her. Taylor's feminism is individual feminism that only benefits her. Which is a shame, because she wasn't always like that.

There was no point. Taylor has deep rooted insecurities and can't stand it when something she puts out isn't universally adored, so she has to push it down people's throats just to make a point. I think she thought Showgirl would be so well received since TTPD wasn't, and the fact that she had two critical bombs in a row upsets her to her core (regardless of how people have come around on TTPD)

This is by far her best work to date, it sounds like she took everything from her previous work that made her stand out in the first place but AMPED it up 3x. I love this direction for her!

She doesn't have a team, Republic Records basically gave her ultimate freedom. I don't even think she has to turn in the records anymore at this point.
