I don't follow her neither have been following the news and all. I just saw this thread and know that ATRL as usual likes to jump the gun wit this woman. Transphobia is NOT AT ALL acceptable. Its already super super difficult for those people and such celebs being openly transphobic is so so much damaging like If she's defending/spreading transphobia, that's literally THE WORSE and should be called out without the personal attacks on her body, image and other things. --- Azealia Banks also had made VERY open transphobic remarks yet I see ATRL kikii-ing in the pinned thread and don't see the same energy there. I wonder whyyy.

(Serious question, not a hate thread, but let's be honest.) Gaga is constantly framed as an "artist's artist," but that respect rarely translates into actual consumption. Yes, she gets headlines. Yes, she gets critical praise in award shows. Yes, she gets endless think-pieces about her "talent." But the general public? they don't really show up. Her career leans heavily on press cycles, prestige narratives, and positioning. Every era is sold as a "return to artistry," her Tiktok Bait-y Recycled concepts like Abracadabra get praised to heavens. yet when it comes to consumption and charts, especially outside nostalgia or gimmicks, GP interest is muted at best. She keeps pivoting to ballads to prove seriousness, but those songs have been underperforming since the start of her career (except Sallow) Even with heavy pushes, her singles see a declining trend and vanish, surviving mostly on awards-season buzz rather than organic demand. Compare that to artists like Madonna/Mariah their music is/was everywhere or her peers Taylor or Rihanna, their music is actually consumed Meanwhile, large parts of Gaga's catalog struggle to clear even the sub-500k daily stream range, which says a lot about real-world interest in her music as music. she's Praised in write-ups (op-eds and articles) and awarded in industry rooms (all of this can be bought tho) None of this means she's untalented, she clearly isn't. But respected by the GP as a music-first artist through concumption? Not really. Thoughts? 👀

Isn't the entire purpose of different covers / variants is to include some good photoshoot pictures?
