As an album it feels clunky? There's songs I do enjoy, but the entire experience for some reason isn't clicking for me. It's the first time I'm questioning his songwriting. I love when he's big and poetic, here some of the diaristic lines go against his strengths. I'll give it a few more listens, but I can see myself just using five of these songs and moving on.
