I get why many dislike it, but there are also a lot of people who are just disingenuous and hating for amusement. It's sad some people cannot enjoy music unless it is "successful", aka liked by others. Or that anything "dated" = bad. It's fine to say the album is basic, boring, and the lyrics are bad. I totally understand why some choose to boycott her over Dr Luke. Totally reasonable criticisms. But if you're hating it for being a flop, it's critic average score, or because it is "dated" production all that tells me is you're someone who likes what you're told to like by others and you have no sense of self and it's sad. ATRL is just a place of hating music anymore, not liking it. People are just looking for any weakness in any artist to use for likes and popular threads. It's such a sad vapid forum now more than ever

Wow this is an underwhelming album. I'll never understand how someone with her network can choose to work with the most dated producer.  There's no growth sonically. Trap EDM is literally not the vibe anymore.

I kinda dig artificial a lot. The prechorus is a slay.

Nailed it! It takes a certain degree of happiness and peace within yourself to appreciate positive songs!

Liked it on my first listen, although second half was much better, but I really enjoyed it by my third listen.

 

Love how the tracks flow one to the other!
