Starting with Sudan Archives. My second try with the album. The first time, I played it with actual excitement because I thought some of it would sound like Freakalizer. It did not.

The promoted track dropping over 50% is bad news for her. I don't understand why this didn't drop along with the Zara track. She already had Chanel as a quick little semi-hit and the album boost would have helped the Zara song. And wait, did they leave out all the other singles she's put out? Also, what the hell is this cover? This is my first time seeing it. They did her wrong.

Her OBSESSION with this awful loud ass song when it's the only bad song on the album and everything else is a 10. Didn't she put it in a whole nationwide Michelle Obama campaign against obesity or something? We DON'T want it. Put Gaga on Freakum Dress. Put her on Suga Mama. Put her on Resentment. Put her on Flaws and All.

A bit bummed out that 'Handle' and the Dominic Fike song, apparently, did nothing for her. But 'Love Me Not' is such a humongous hit and still doing over 3M combined per day, so... I don't think she's in a rush for another big one? I do hope there's something on the album that can do it for her, although I'm also rooting for one of the older gems (Skin Tight, Night Song, One Wish) to randomly take off.

I'm always rooting for Nivea. I was sad to see the title but the energy here and in the tweets is surprisingly positive, so I hope that indeed it's all good and that she beats it.

Title track, Secrets, Stoned, The Path, Mood Ring and Oceanic Feeling are all... top 10 in her discography for me. The remaining songs are a bit forgettable but an album with those 6 cannot be bad and certainly can't be worse than the v*gina X-ray album.

One of the best videos of the 2000s and with 0.01% of Nolan's budget. I remember every frame and I haven't watched it in a decade.
