The Fader: Camila Cabello's "C,XOXO" deserves a second chance
The album is ok but most of it is inoffensive and perfectly serviceable for mainstream, bar the lead single and the City Girls song. Let's not pretend its downfall was being too risky or experimental. Although I'm not sure if the article is truthful about this supposed rising wave of re-evaluation of the album, I've seen nothing of the sort.
- Madonna is collaborating with her No. IIs. Who should be next?

What happened? Confessions II drops to #112 on BB 200 and #3 on Dance Albums
We're far too many years into the streaming era for y'all to be surprised when an album without an active hit falls on the charts. Like, yeah, an album will only sell physicals within the first week, maybe the second, and then it will have to rely on streams. Without an actual smash pulling in enough millions of weekly streams to sell 5k units on its own, the album will, inevitably, vanish. It's basically gravity. This has been the case since purchasing albums became a collectors and stans only activity.

I find it very interesting how 'like i do' is the biggest album track, despite its low tracklist placement, and doesn't seem to be wearing off. It's definitely the darkest sounding song along with 'petal', which is also showing stability that I did not expect, so I guess people like that sound.

Audrey Hobert - "Sue Me"
Love Audrey. I want 'Phoebe' to pop off too, her best song for me. I think her sense of humor isn't for everyone, but I like her writing, it feels very fresh. Rooting for her to rise.

Ariana Grande - "petal"
I'm kind of unsure about this as a single. It's a standout for sure but oh well sounds like a better choice, especially worldwide. What's the ATRL consensus?

Madonna - 'CONFESSIONS II'
I want that desperately because LS has one of the best melodies on the album but the single-layer chorus falls flat. It needs to HIT

Starting with Sudan Archives. My second try with the album. The first time, I played it with actual excitement because I thought some of it would sound like Freakalizer. It did not.

Spotify: Tyla's A*POP 2.7 million 3rd day
The promoted track dropping over 50% is bad news for her. I don't understand why this didn't drop along with the Zara track. She already had Chanel as a quick little semi-hit and the album boost would have helped the Zara song. And wait, did they leave out all the other singles she's put out? Also, what the hell is this cover? This is my first time seeing it. They did her wrong.

Beyoncé f/ Lady Gaga - "Get Me Bodied" (Remix) (UNCONFIRMED)
Her OBSESSION with this awful loud ass song when it's the only bad song on the album and everything else is a 10. Didn't she put it in a whole nationwide Michelle Obama campaign against obesity or something? We DON'T want it. Put Gaga on Freakum Dress. Put her on Suga Mama. Put her on Resentment. Put her on Flaws and All.
