I've been wanting her to go back to her acoustic pop rock roots for ages now and she never seems to get the memo that people are tired of her SIMS/Real Housewives vacation background music pop songs and want her to finally try harder and get more personal and unique in the lyrics department. Her lyrics are entirely devoid of any personal touch of her own. This album is dead and hollow on the inside and it comes across in the music.

Just listened to the album. I truly wished she had gone the Cry About It Later route. I still listen to that song daily. It feels more mature and exciting than anything on 143. Well, it is what it is. Time to switch up Miss Katherine

i wish she'd have gone the acoustic pop rock route, it could get back some good faith, this is vapid and dire... 38 is being too generous with this.

All of this. The GP consumed her mindless pop music in her peak, but the people who actually stayed want her to EVOLVE, and at least serve something close to what she did in 2004-06. This album was GP bait in all fronts, maybe as an excuse to tour again I guess, but it even failed to get GP's attention

This honestly isn't as bad as everyone says lol I don't get the hate. It's just basic and I think her label wanted her to make a dancey album with a more mature teenage dream look to it? Obv that failed but you know

I got an email saying that the signed postcards didn't arrive to their warehouse on time and so the signed vinyl will be shipped "at a later date" 

She really needs to leave Capitol and her A&E/A&R (The Guy supportive-apologetic of Gottwald).
Theyre not guiding her properly with the current trends,creatively......... Is this her last album with them?

Do you think a major big label will give Kateryn a chance, or is she more likely to go the independent route? Personally, I'd rather see her sign with another small label, but not go fully independent like Kesha or Tinashe, since they don't get much promotion or support. 

The bonus tracks sound like they belong to Smile instead of this record, but No Tears for New Years is probably the cutest song on the record, also being the most TD coded.
