Tbh timing IF it is coming out end of week (far as high debut/peaks) could actually be *perfect esp. if it HITS out of the gate. Even if it's decent def. expecting very high debuts. Points/competition are pretty low rn I think. If it's DSN/Lev. -ish level catchy low burn etc...ya, expect this to end up more of 1st quarter 2024 beast.

We also need to remember that Dua is British. To crack the US and MAINTAIN success over there is pretty difficult for UK pop girls so it makes her accomplishments so far even more impressive. 

The bassline? 

It just took 2 seconds for me to be EXCITED as hell. This has the potential to be a major collapse in pop music.

It’s kinda giving Thriller tbh.

how is anyone hearing Thriller from the teaser? this sounds more like a funk based type of song which was the rumored sound before the psychedelic pop rumors started to emerge tbh.

I rather psychedelic pop but if the lead is a bit funky that should be fine tbh...as long as its not the main sound. I dont want a female Bruno Mars record (not that there is anything wrong with Bruno's sound...it's just it can be reductive and unsinspired sometimes)
