  1. M really should've been at like 13-14 US #1s now. If Deeper and Deeper was the 1st single (considered 'safe', radio & GP friendly at the time), no Sex Book and movie etc...Highly likely would've easily closed that 3-4k difference. By a lot. It's all an infamous, 'legendary' era now but mostly to just her core fanbase. To this day 34 yrs later I strongly feel she never fully recovered the US GP soccer Mom's, Karen's & Ken's (but only in the US). ROL & TIC too. Normal/typical weeks those albums were surefire #1 albums. She was dealing w/ The Titantic and Hammer Time & Vanilla Ice. 1990 version of junky, viral, BTS-esque. Rebel Heart is another one. If not for the rule change months earlier she easily would've had it and we'd talking about her 11th #1 album now. But TEN was key atp!! Of course Taylor gonna surpass all of them (ya, The Beatles). But Madonna endured some truly sh**y luck & timing in the 90s (in the US). Much less so in Australia and the UK/Europe.
  2. ~133k in late 90s/early-mid 00s physical #s (adjusted for inflation or whatever) friggin craazy!! Even if she did the initial~101k (long as Olivia stays at ~100k) M still likely would've eked it out! But I strongly felt 101k was too low. Was thinking 110k MAX. I mean... daymn lol. And at almost 70 yold w/ all NEW, solo material, Euro dance, house, electro etc... You better fng believe ONLY 'Madonna' could've pulled this off.
  3. Ya, wanted the #1 in Germany but reeally wanted & needed France! 18 yrs since her last #1!! Yes, at least Germany came through for Rebel Heart when both the US AND UK did her dirty at the last minute (different albums) but very similar circumstance/outcome.
  4. ^ ya I'm w/ you on that # 105-110k. Highly likely not more. But that 105K min. # I think is THE # she needed to be extra safe. 110k is gravy/extra optics to boast. If we're just looking at what happened so far in the other major markets 'hopefully' US final #s followed the pattern.
  5. So far, it seems in all/most of the big markets she actually kept the momentum going into the last tracking day. Hopefully that ends up the same exact case & outcome in the US and the 101k was low balling it.
  6. Obv. also wanted #1 in Germany but actually wanted France more! Hasn't had a #1 in many years and TONS of #2s lol.
  7. Hits Daily came out w/ an initial rough prediction on Mon. But later that day admitted it was basically on the fly (due to the long holiday weekend & the 'smoke needing to clear'). There was a margin for error & to please bear w/ them (I'm paraphrasing). Sounded like they were literally hung over lol. To give them until Tues. (for a more precise, accurate prediction) which they gave. I thought a couple more versions, variants or whatever came out Tues.-Wed. (after their initial prediction on Mon.-early Tues.) Maybe not? I honestly lost track. I wasn't able to properly proof read & correct my auto spell/correct earlier (before hitting submit & it posted). Ya, I'm stressed ah about these final #s but...no, not stroking out! hehe
  8. Ugh...Olivia doesn't really have much of a history of doing that anyway? Nothing passive aggressive there. Polar opposite. Quite complimentary. Almost wish she DID lol (but only due to this specific frazzled state many of us are in rn waiting) lol. If she did, ya, your post would basically be confirming IT.
  9. lol Okay, PR guy which label? I mean....daymn. lol Same kind of corporate-tinged post every time. Like it's from their template.
  10. So w/ that initial Hits prediction (Mon.) the one that was 'refined' a bit by Tues. did they include the Tues. but esp. Wed.-today Grindr & the other mid week (dunno know or remember if they came out of nowhere) editions/ drops? IF not, it likely provides the extra bit she needs for #1. Meaning, could still be close...maybe razor thin but would only obv. help.
  11. ^ but there's only 1 more tracking day left! Lol That enough time to make an impact atp for this week?
  12. ^ yes, but not until Fri. ~5 pm I read on here. Gonna be a LONG 2 days. For now, I'm personally following betting markets lol (still looking great for Madonna on there) But hoping someone reputable leaks something tomm.
  13. I'm not even gonna screenshot the the tweet but is Chartdata on X known for trolling, click bait/engagement, favoring certain singers & groups? They just put out a very general tweet 'Olivia could be the 1st female to get 3 weeks & challenging for a return to #1 or whatever ' lol. No data.
  14. whether it's 41k (it'll be more) OR 45k-50k in 'US #s' that's like what...~200k!?? Crazy. Ya, she'll very likely cross 100k (strongly vibing close to or right at 105k imo) not 'bad' but...still. Then (30+ yrs ago) and every bit now UK/Europe are her biggest, most loyal BOO. Australia too!
  15. I'm sure it's coming any moment but hopefully (from the outside) it gets updated & shows the full update of ~41k (vs 37k). Otherwise, haters are gonna pounce/rant 'she's ALL frontloaded' & didn't sell anymore since Sunday lol
