The purple isn’t as much of a problem as just everything else looking the exact same, like the merch. “Guts” and “Vampire” evokes Halloween, horror, creepiness, etc. yet the cover just looks like a dull outtake from the Sour shoot. They really couldn’t have spiced it up a little more? Maybe a blood splatter, or at least a more intriguing outfit.

SOUR would have done 375K first week if Vinyls had been ready.  I'm thinking 500K+ as long as Vampire is good.  If Vampire is trash then maybe 350K

I actually like that she’s has a through-line with Sour. Reinvention is overrated, especially when your career is still in its infancy. Doja executed on this perfectly by following up HP with PH and it paid off. Billie did a 180 with HTE and it fumbled a bit.

I barely check for pop culture anymore, but even to me it's clear that the symbolism of the colour palette is that this album is going in a darker direction than SOUR (hence the gradient from SOUR-coded purple to black). Come on now. This is kind of the perfect sophomore record aesthetic.

Love as in thank you for all the pre-saves/buying thousand of vinyls/CDs already 

the single artwork was really great so i’m confused that the album looks like a random magazine outtake

OR3 is gonna be her DARK era  

I thought she would come with something very pink and candy like and similar to katy perry  surprised she's goin in the opposite direction and turning darker.
Maybe this will be better in the long run. She will be more respected. Her songwriting will probably be good, so another acclaimed album

Excited to hear the music though

 princess is back! the art direction does give me sour 2.0 but there is a slightly darker & mature layer to it so there may be more than meets the eye!
