  1. Is this the IOP girl, the Superlove girl, or the 'Eat the booty like groceries' girl?
  2. It's funny to see the difference in reaction between this legend's commentary and Aretha's "great gowns" commentary.
  3. Sir-Ma'am, she released a whole album about this in 2017. What do you mean, 'I hope she and her fanbase are prepared'"?
  4. EGOT has been tarnished by people trying to do anything to become one. And what Grammy would he ever win? A spoken word album, maybe.
  5. Basic, remedial OTHs in here acting like "soliloquy" and "sanctimonious" are huge words that anyone has to run to the thesaurus to know. Just because y'all haven't picked up a book since The Great Gatsby or To Kill A Mockingbird in the 10th grade.....
  6. How many times is this thread going to be made? The answer was no the last 10 times, and it's still no.
  7. This makes no sense. OTHs are the ones who came in the kitchen in the first place.
  8. It's Angels, sis. OT: If Taylor were trying to block her, wouldn't it make sense to do it earlier in the tracking week?
  9. LOL everyone on here has been saying her music is "pots and pans" for years.
  10. Been a fan since Fancy/Beg For it, so I dunno. Seems everyone's just enjoying the current album and not necessarily declaring themselves a stan, per se.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised at Best Pop Album grammy nomination atp. Whether she'll win with Poets, HMHAS, and Eternal in the running, though, remains to be seen.
  12. Cell Phone - $10 a month from Tello Mullvad VPN - $5 a month
  13. It's "Mateo Muscle ASMR" on YT.
  14. What he meant to say is they're not spiteful, delusional, and bitter enough to make an account here.
  15. Tbf, neither is a powerhouse singer...or anywhere near it. Pop music has never been a genre that requires a stellar vocal.
  16. You tried. Even DJ Sabrina the Teenage DJ is better than that other one....
  17. Some of y'all don't know what a cover is....
  18. Both of you need to stop trying to be clever. When one says "its roots" and "reclaim," it's obvious that the meaning is "White people stole country music and Black people are finally taking back what is ours." Despite Bey never saying this herself, this narrative has been spread throughout social media since Cowboy Carter's announcement. The user made a claim, and I corrected that claim. I'm not sitting here listening to claims of "that's not what I meant. There's context" when it's clear what the context is. Stop trying to help the user backpedal and make me out to be the crazy one when it's clear what the meaning is.
  19. The "roots" are from everywhere, including Scottish/Irish folk songs, Appalachian "hillbilly music," and yes, Black American/West African music. There's nothing to reclaim, because it was never a single race's genre in the first place. And it's Bey's fans that are obligated to purchase her music, not country music fans.
  20. We all know what this ingenious "debt-cutting plan" will be.
  21. Seeing through OTH's eyes right now.....
  22. So Ava Max would be one of those "takers" then, according to what her tax bracket probably is. The way you could've just typed "rich good, poor bad" and been back at your cubicle instead of typing all that nonsense.
  23. I'm just here to enjoy everyone in here making things up and barking at each other like it's facts.
