As someone else who didn't listen to the leaks, I agree with the fact that her teasing the final chorus made the first few listens underwhelming. But after listening for a bit I do appreciate that she held back and gradually the song grow, the melody in the chorus is amazing so it doesn't need much to shine. I personally would prefer vanish into you or shadow of a man as the next singles but I do think this is the most radio friendly song outside of the current singles, it is definitely insanely catchy as well

Yeah 143 had no playlisting because her label knew that she is a complete and utter flop that even with the top spot of TTH the songs would collapse. Yeah playlisting can help to a certain extent but when you are hated by the entire general public you will never be successful

Honestly people are saying this is too fast, I don't really think so. If they waited another month to release this, it would've peaked on radio in early 2025 because of the christmas freeze, and by then, its streaming momentum will be long over. The point of charts is to reflect what people are actually listening to, if they are stagnant then that's just a reflection of people's listening habits. Yes Espresso is very overplayed at this point but it is a gargantuan hit and the fact that it's leaving the charts when it is one of the 3 biggest hits in the country is absolutely ridiculous. This realistically can be #1 without her team pulling any tricks, the gap to #1 yesterday was 36 points and today it's at 9-10 points. Maybe they can release a single version on itunes at least since the fans are buying the album and not the song itself

I love Miley but anyone saying Miley is delusional, considering her career had flop after flop from the end of 2013 literally until flowers smashed in Jan 2023. Flowers was also a fluke, look at how everything else from that album performed. She does not perform commercially well outside of gimmicks and stirring up controversy.
