@psychodiva336 you may be forgetting the Atlantic layoffs and restructure that happened during this time. DCP was probably heard and approved by different people compared to those she was working with before, maybe her switching management influenced the direction too.

Lana is a once in a generation talent, but Madonna has her beat here. no one eats up a ballad like M.

oh so it's that one... obviously it's rough and early-stage but i do think that could still be a single. but it doesn't sound like switching up the vibe, so maybe she has something else planned
