Wow, I don't think we ever interacted but I was aware of his presence on here and it's always so tragic when someone goes at such a young age. Is it ok to ask what happened? Was it an accident or...?

RIP :(

I'm not sure if this Buddy played Survivor in the games section or not. There's a couple people with this name on here so I don't want to say more until the confusion is cleared up.ย

I didn't interact with him much, but I don't remember it ever being negative. May he rest in peace. My thoughts are with his loved ones.

This genuinely does not feel real. :cries:

ย

I've only interacted with him a handful of times, in passing - I joined ATRL in '16, but before that I used to be a lurker for years, waiting for registration to open. He was one of the users I found to be very funny and entertaining, and it feels like such a loss for the ATRL community to see an OG go. His presence was so palpable...ย

ย

He was very funny, his avis were iconic - I remember always noticing the edits he had - and I also occasionally enjoyed his political banter.

ย

To die so young is awful... I can only hope that his family finds some strength in this situation. Loss has a sting that I don't wish upon anyone, one that slightly dulls with time...and I hope he is in a better place now.ย

This makes me so anxious. :dancehall:

Goodbye, Buddy. You were a staple on here and to see a pillar gone like this is strange...I know it's all "online" so we never met irl, but after so many years you get used to people's (virtual) presence too. It feels emptier now...ย

ย

Omg this is heart breaking! Buddy was such a pillar of the ATRL community, an active member who posted all over the site.ย

ย

Ugh that's really sad. Rest in peace, buddy. I'm sure there are so many of us who have interacted and gotten to know you, even a smidgen, online (and in real life).

ย

I know I'm not exactly a beloved figure on this site lol but for better or worse, I've been an active ATRL user for the best part of a decade and were a pretty small group really. I hope everyone reading this just remembers we're more than pop culture stans, we're all imperfect humans with our issues and intense lives (at times) behind the scenes. Take care and reach out to me if you ever need someone to talk to!

This news literally ruined my day this morning and I still can't comprehend it & i'm so sad. I wasn't talking to him everyday he probably didn't even see me as his friend but we talked to each other a lot in the Discord servers we're in, and at the end of the day it's someone you know passing away. I'm just so sad, hope he's feeling better now and resting in peace :(ย :chick3:ย :weeps:

That's really sad news, and sorry for his family and friends. I think anyone who browses/posts here regularly enough would be familiar with him and his posts even if they didn't know or talk with him directly. RIP Buddy
