I'm devastated by this. Buddy and I used to talk pretty regularly on Discord until the last couple of months when I took a break from the app. He was such a kind soul with an adorable, unique sense of humor. He's been such a ubiquitous presence in the atrl realm for so many years and hearing that he has passed is very hard to even begin to process.

I don't think I ever actually interacted with him but he was one of the most distinguishable & iconic memebers on here, so this really touched me. I greatly enjoyed his constantly refreshing takes on all kinds of things, his really specific kind of humor and the fact that he never seemed to take himself too seriously, something I can relate to

Death at this age is particularly devastating, and words always feel lacking. I hope his dear ones all have a strong support system and that he went out as peacefully as possible. He'll be missed :heart2:

Extremely sad news, young deaths are always shocking no matter how much you try to prepare yourself for them.

I didn't know this user, but to think they were posting regular stuff up until last Friday only to be gone less than 5 days later is very tragic to think about. Rest in peace angel, I pray that his family and friends find patience and strength during what must be a very difficult time for them.

What? This is devastating. We were in a lot of mutual discord servers together and talked alot about politics since we got tired of talking on ATRL’s threads all the time. He was super nice and equally as intelligent.

Rest In Peace king. I’ll keep our conversations in DMs forever. Fly high angel.

This is truly heartbreaking. Him and I used to disagreeing with each other when it comes to political topics but we always respect each other

Rest in peace Buddy. Sending my condolences to his family during this difficult time :heart2:

I’ve rarely interacted with him but has always been one of my favorite users on here and one of the most reasonable and nice one. His taste in music and Avis is immaculate as well. I will miss his presence in here :(

Oh my god, this is so sad. He was a very memorable presence on this site and I always liked reading his posts, I'm really sad to hear about this. To anyone he was close to, I'm sorry for your loss.

I know this is just our little corner of the internet but I feel genuinely connected to a lot of members on here even if I don't know them personally. He will be missed.

I was just going back to read some of ours as well. He had just reached out to me a few weeks ago to check in to see how I was doing after going MIA. He could troll like the rest of us, but he was so kind and genuinely cared about others' well-being. Heartbreaking.

OMG, I am an ATRL vet, original ATRL too, so this is like big news.

RIP

This, it's so shocking. He and I never really spoke one on one, but I feel like I lost a friend regardless.

This is so sad. RIP @Buddy

Ve interacted with him thruought the years

I think he was very cool

never gave me toxic vibes and remember him just having fun here

he said that he hopes he don't know if he will be remembered 1 year after in a recent thread

but he for sure will be remembered more than that
